Could you explain how it’s completely false? Maybe that would be more suggestive if you can elaborate specifically what you’re saying versus what I am saying.

Lol. No, I didn't make pompous unfounded statements. But nice try at deflecting. I'm not the only person to call you out on this - and you have no facts in return. Just more fluff wrapped in answering questions with a question. And referring to VR and AR, of course. :)

I'm feeling generous so I'll get you started: depth perception doesn't depend on the orientation of sensors.

I guess my rebuttal question, why wouldn’t it provide more depth? If you have the cameras separated away from each other, that allows for greater field of rendering, which is likely what I’m going to believe Apple Will introduce with the VR capabilities in the fall.

Greater field of rendering??? What does that mean, in the context of camera sensors?

Please stop trying to sound authoritative about something you clearly have no understanding of.

Good lord that's ugly.

Just increase the case depth by a couple of millimeters and fill it with battery. You'd have the longest lasting smartphone battery by miles.

Looks fine to me, keep in consistent with the new iPhone's. I think I'd like the 6.1 size better than 5.8 and 6.5, but I couldn't do LCD and thick bezels. Maybe we see changes eventually.

I was skeptical of the 6.1” display size, however it strikes a good balance. The bezels though a tad thicker than the XS are not noticeable once a case is on and are greatly reduced compared to the home button versions. The LCD resolution is fine and HDR is more impressive on a larger screen like a TV, monitor or projector. It’s like having HDR on a postage stamp sized screen, though good it’s is not a deal breaker.

I usually project my XS onto a larger screen anyhow. Battery and Cell reception is far more important for a phone. I purchased the XS as the XR was not available at the time, as I travel a lot I wanted the optical zoom and prefer smaller sized phones for mobility.

What I don’t like about my XS is the battery life, cell reception is okay.

What all iPhones need is durable glass, over the years it seems to be getting worse.

And referring to VR

No, I was referring to VR. Why are you saying that VR isn’t a capability with field depth/rendering? Isn’t that what Apple is already demoing at one point? I does matter on orientation of the cameras, why else would they be offering a tri- lens camera.

Only one other member questioned my post (Coconut Bean), aside from you. I explained what my perception of this was, you’re telling me I’m wrong, can you provide any articles/links indicating why am I wrong with field of depth/VR? More specifically, why doesn’t it matter with the orientation of the cameras?.

I would need to see it with my own eyes before passing judgment because I don’t find Samsung to be the beat, over saturated is how I describe them usually.
It is nothing but a fallacy to claim OLEDS are so expensive they are only able to be on the highest of high end phones... created to warrant the ridiculously high pricing with your customers, and a massive boost to the profit margin of each device. IMO
I have an XR, I like the screen mostly that’s on it, but I would love an OLED and their is no reason but forced model separation and excuse for increased RRP as to why Apple can’t put a 1080P OLED on the XR.
I believe this to help believe the XR in 2020 will have an OLED screen.
OLED displays have always been more expensive than other types of displays because the technology is superior and there aren't too many suppliers.
