Perception =/= reality.
Just look at AAPL 10 days ago compared today. People are creating this issue and capitalizing.
Dude, sorry, but you're wrong here. If you think the reception issue is why AAPL has dropped in the last 10 days, you're not even close. First, the iPhone was release a week ago. The issue just now got some attention. The reason AAPL has dropped over the last week is because the entire market has. If AAPL drops disproportionately to the market as a whole over the next few days, then your statement becomes valid. Not yet.
Today, a JP Morgan analyst issued a new target price for AAPL of $390 and specifically stated the IP4 problems will be a non-event. I couldn't agree more. If Apple is able to fix the issue based on a firmware or software update, then the whole thing rapidly becomes a distant memory. All that said, my phone works without any issues. The effect for me is immaterial at most.
As for people filing lawsuit over the reception issue, they are freaking retarded. Where is their injury? How were they damaged? WTF is wrong with people? I don't like something...."I'm a gonna sue!!!!!" It's the American way these days. Just return the damn phone and ****.
If a suit were filed to address the glass breakage issue, that I could at least understand. Apple touted the glass as super strong. There is a potential design issue that might not be apparent until someone drops their phone. Mobile phones are just that...mobile. They should be designed accordingly. Apple's glass design might be a flaw since the edge protrudes and can contact the ground when dropped resulting in shattered glass.
I can't wait for Apple to resolve this issue so people can whine about something else....
