Yeah, no.
It's been known since iPhone X that Face ID doesn't work under the sun. That was huge news when they launched it and it's still like that.
"Works no matter what I wear" - exactly - what you wear but there are still sunglasses that block Face ID from working and good luck unlocking your phone with winter hat and scarf over your head but I guess it's the gloves that are the problem?
Both Touch ID and Face ID have pros and cons but saying that touch id is straight up sh*t and Face ID works 100% of the time no matter what is BS and nonsense.
I actually have more failures with Face ID than Touch ID. I can lock the phone, put it in my pocket, take it out after 5 minutes and I have to type a passcode because it's locked. I have to physically raise the phone or type a passcode to check the notifications instead of just placing a finger. It's so common that I constantly see people in the wild with iPhones that have to type a passcode because Face ID fails for them.
