If these are accurate it's probably not photographed great and is actually more of a copper or bronze color. With this option they might do something similar to the "gold" option with the iPhone 8 and not try to perfectly match the glass back to the aluminum color, but instead go with a lighter, off-white shade for the glass. Could end up being nice!

Not sure why anyone would be surprised by brown. There have been plenty of brown phones offered in various shades. Most of them actually look good. Plus I can't count the number of phones I've seen in brown leather cases.

Brown?!? No - I'm thinking there's going to be a black with gold/copper around the edge, similar to the announcement. That's why the sim tray would be that copper-ish color.

Yeah the saddle brown cases are very, very popular. If I recall iPhone 5C also launched with a slew of color-matched cases, so that wouldn't be terribly surprising this time either.

Given Apple's attempts at "rose gold" I wouldn't be surprised if their attempt at a bronze or copper colour comes out to be more of a dirty brown.

I kind of miss the unibody look over the glass backing. My brother has a white iPhone X and honestly I felt it looked cheap when compared to older models. Even the stainless steel appeared to look like plastic even though It's not. I'm personally not liking these leaks either purely from a design standpoint.

Maybe, they look a lot nicer in real life but on those particular photos, it's nothing to shout home about.

Have to wonder why the phone is always described as low cost when in reality it is high cost phone but lower than the even more expansive ones. Apple doesn‘t sell anything at low cost.

I couldn't care less for the colors of the phone since I will have a case anyway. I find impossible to hold and use an iPhone without one as it is very slippery.
