This is what the Face ID setup animated icon looks like. Presumably you look around at different angles during setup so that it can register your face in three dimensions.
Now will you look at that, it's an animated 3D “Happy Mac” face… For those who are claiming this new iPhone, or Apple, or whatever have no soul, that was the boot icon SJ killed off in Mac OS X 10.2 “Jaguar”, and which graced all Mac users for 18 years straight, courtesy of Susan Kare and, yes, a younger SJ (who, believe it or not, even wanted the Mac team to sneak in a “Mr. Macintosh” easter egg, but didn't get his way because the system ROM was excruciatingly cramped

New AirPods, really? I mean the current generation isn’t even completely available and they come up with a gen 2?

I did a bit of research before buying AirPods, and most people seemed to be saying it was very unlikely there would be an update.
I bought mine about a week and a half ago... So, I guess I'll be returning them for a refund tomorrow.
Just hoping I'll be able to get a pair of the new ones as soon as they go on sale.
