You can an extra 100mhz an update?

Well. It did receive a different model number so I call it an update. Also it seems to be quoted as an update on the buyer's guide. The classic Macbook Pro has hardly changed in the 5 or so years its been out.

I like my 2012 cMBP with USB 3. That was a wonderful update that made it worth buying, in my case.

Retina line is the new successor to classic.

Since 2010:

Arrandale CPU->Sandy Bridge CPU->Ivy Bridge CPU

NVIDIA GPU->AMD GPU->NVIDIA GPU

USB 2.0->USB 3.0

Displayport->Thunderbolt

Yep, hardly changed at all they have.

Why can't Apple listen to consumers once and make MacBook Air Pro????? :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I guess they will. IGZO display tech and Haswell and it's power savings enable to make the Retina MBP even thinner e.g. a Retina "Air" Pro.

It has been mentioned that IGZO is being manufactured by Sharp.
Furthermore, the reliable KGI guy said the retina MBP will get even thinner.
Last but not least it has been said the new rMBP will be in short supply because of low yield rates of the display. Low yield rates indicate a technology shift from LCD to IGZO.

It all fits!

We haven't had any blurry pics of Apple product boxes on a pallet this year so maybe that's next.

I guess those codes would make sense for third party retailers and online. If you go into the Apple retail store they usually have a third "ultimate" option but I don't see a code for that so who knows.

I hear that Sony are planning to unveil the PS4 on the 10th as well so it's going to be an exciting day next Monday.

You mean the Mac Air Pro Retina Mini S?

Sounds like a hairdryer :D

I think the three other SKUs are for Airport products, bringing you the 802.11ac standard which will be included in the new MacBooks:

"Good" for Airport Extreme
"Better" for Time Capsule with 2TB
"Best" for Time Capsule with 4TB

Would perfectly make sense, because Apple has to support 802.11ac when including this with new MacBooks. Otherwise you would not be able to use it.

"A notebook refresh is expected to be the hardware highlight of WWDC, although Apple is likely to introduce a number of new products once accessories and configuration options are accounted for. "

Lol. Obviously our definition of 'change' is different.

I meant more in terms of physica and radicall change as oppose to adding a USB 3 or Thunderbolt.

Anyway!
