The front facing camera had better be improved and not just the rear camera!

I'm going to suggest a two piece 6S Plus. All the new features, same great screen but let me detach the logic board and take it with me paired to my watch for GPS and processing in a light weight package. Running with a 6 Plus is not exactly easy. I know I can leave it home but prefer to have a phone with me when I'm out. You never know.

Or.. you could simply opt for the smaller non 'Plus' version

That's SIMPLY NOT TRUE. Go on actual real camera sites and not trash Android site for camera info. How can they have better low light performance with the SAME SIZE SENSOR and smaller pixels with more noise. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE.

So, I call BS on that. 100%.

Apple has had the better camera for years. Simple as that, so I can't take you seriously.

They could have better broad daylight resolution (more pixels are OK in good light), but that's it.

Lol, what a load of rubbish, have you used S6, Note 4 or G4? I have and although I prefer the the iPhone 6 the camera on it is good but not as good. Also even if the iPhone was better in low light how many people take most of their photos in low light?

I'm sure if the iPhone 7 was made of plastic you would think it was the best made phone ever, what a joke.

so we all know next iphone look like
skip watching event in fall.

dont go invitation ok

Wha chou talkin' about? I want the bigger screen for all other times than running so I deal with it. I look like a fool with a 6Plus attached to my arm in an arm band but oh well. I do go without sometimes since the watch still tracks the run. I have thought about the smaller phone but really the regular 6 is not as good for a running companion as was something like the 5S which was really compact by today's standards.

Omg did Apple really not get the hint about those ugly ass antenna lines

Er... yeah, they did, hence why they've just submitted a patent which "hides" the antenna lines. iPhone 7 will be different however as they'll probably use the new material.

Never change a winning team right? But i feel a bit sorry for the creative team behind the iPhone. Not much changed for them in years. Must be boring as hell.

Yet another person I'm glad doesn't work for Apple. How anyone working for Apple could be "bored" is beyond me, and, if so, tough tea bags! Find a more challenging job.

I wonder if they'll make structural changes to reduce the chance of the iPhones bending, kind of like they dealt with antenna gate issue on the iPhone 4 and then refined the antenna on the iPhone 4S.
The difference there is that the iPhone 4 had real antenna problems, whereas "bendgate" is an overblown load of hype and FUD.

Huh! What!
5S had :
- A7 (first 64 bit mobile processor and landmark (still not done by others!))
Double the graphic performance of the A6, put other ARM chipmakers on the defensive
- Touch ID (first widely distributed biometrics on mobile, not really done as well by others 2 years later)
- M7 motion coprocessor
- True tone flash (still not fully implemented in other phones)
- F2.2 aperture (15% more light gets into the sensor)
- 10 photo burst mode (nobody was close to doing that in other phones then, shot to shot was very slow for them)
- 120 FPS recording and electronic stabilisations (both require hardware support)
- Huge increase in number of LTE bands covered, making it closer to being a world phone for LTE.

The first two improvements shook up the industry; they essentially set up the table for the Iphone's 6 huge success.

The 5S was a very major upgrade. A bigger one than the 5; same with the 3GS being a major upgrade to the 3G. I'm still using the 3GS, but I don't think I'd even think of still using the 3G.
I agree that the iPhone 5s was a major upgrade in terms of what's inside. The iPhone 3GS supported two more versions of iOS than the iPhone 3G, and I expect the iPhone 5s to be much more "future-proof" than the iPhone 5 due to the 64-bit architecture.

Apple needs a proper notification light. Not just the LED flash blinking.

But I apple sees it as being too android so they'll probably never get one.
Too Android ?
That's something copied straight out of Blackberry book, and we all know where Blackberry is right now.
I don't want a flashing light on my phone and the majority of people also doesn't want and usually Apple makes these choices based on majorities.

That's why we also have lot's of choice. If you want a notification light you buy a Blackberry or an Android device that has one. :)

Everyone is happy! :)

Your kid looks still like a human being. It must be a failure and boring for you too.

Yes the majority doesn't want a notification light just like the majority didn't want a phone bigger than 3.5 inches.

I disagree. While I think the media was hasty to jump to conclusions about the problem, two of my colleagues had the problem with their phones so it certainly existed.

This makes an even better iPhone 6 / 6 Plus! This is going to be a great update to an already great phone!
Agreed...this is a no brainer upgrade...if you can do it at no cost thru one of the upgrade programs (Next, Jump, etc) - do it!:p

Your statement also didn't just state the G6 which came out a few months ago (maybe then you'd have a point, but how could Apple fall behind with a 2 month old phone!); you said Apple was falling behind (how?). This is a complete utter farce.

As for the Note 4 and G4 :YOU ARE WRONG. Completely utterly wrong. Resolution is not a better photo. Got that bud.

This is an actual photography related site (not a phone site, they are well known for reviewing cameras, even high end ones, so they're not biased), which reviews smart phones.

http://connect.dpreview.com/post/7285707615/dpreview-recommends-best-smartphone-cameras

The G6 which just came out is has the best photo quality for a mass market phone (though it is not the best one out there, the Panasonic is better), but that certainly was not the case for the other Samsung phones which are also rated on this site (Note 4, G4,G5, whatever). They got beat by every other Iphones, even those that came before them. Still, the Iphone 6 is still considered the smart phone camera with the best all around performance.

By the time the Iphone 6S comes out, I expect again the Samsung phone will be beat again, as usual.
