Why does anyone care?

It's a part of something that will be here in a few weeks. If real: yay. If not: so? The only cool thing about it is how small it is. That thing has more processing power than 10 y.o. iBooks, probably more power than PowerBooks from 2004.

just release the date...

Anyone know if we Verizon will let you upgrade early if your iPhone 4 is eligible for upgrade one week after the release?

Y'all still think these leaks are the real next iPhone, right?

Apple could BUY that French site and put its own past prototype parts on there.

I'm still hoping for the iPhone that looks like a duck. Small, yellow and orange.

Seriously, why would suppliers risk ticking Apple off and losing their business in the next round? Why would employees risk losing their jobs smuggling busted parts out of the shop? Why wouldn't Apple engage in a little disinformation to teach a few competitors a few lessons?

Do you think Apple would know which supplier leaked? Do you think even if they did they would stop doing business with them?

Yup. The people on this forum seem largely incapable of counting to 6 and realizing this is the 6TH GENERATION iPHONE

So I suppose everyone[including Apple] who called the iPhone 4S the.. Well.. iPhone 4S were wrong when it was clearly the iPhone 5?

//People who can't accept that names don't have to follow numerical order.

Add this to the 'build your own iPhone kit' please. Once we get the camera we don't need Foxconn.

On a side , still 'fake' comments. Disbelief is your enemy guys.

Tim Cook: Apple will 'double down' on product secrecy.

I guess double down doesn't mean what we thought it did lol. Cool to see more stuff coming; I hope we don't have to wait madly long in NZ this time ... even if it requires switching carriers. Very much ready -now- operating on a dumbphone as my iPhone 4 has finally died almost a year after a swim.

If you take all the leaked parts, assembled them. Got a defibrillator and sent it a shock we might have a working phone on our hands before the launch

Leak much? I know what Tim is giving the employees for Christmas this year....

Tim Cook: Apple will 'double down' on product secrecy.

Doesn't mean they will succeed.

True enough. It's virtually impossible to keep new products 100% under wraps for probably "the most scrutinized company in the world" with arguably "the most anticipated products in the world" with sooo many people involved in bringing these gadgets to market. Especially with some news sites willing to pay thousands for a "scoop". But hey, as noted by others, maybe APPLE has a hand in some of these 'leaks'. :(
