Its not the size, its what you do with it - This applies to RAM and many other things. .....
You beat me to saying this. Can they make a 15-16" Air then to fit in between then?
Well if true this leaves room for a more expensive MacBook Air next year
With the current Air staying as a budget alternative
Um… The $1799 bass Intel model already does.Well if this is true, then they better have a base storage of 512GB and 16GB of RAM.
I agree, there will be different GPU performance.the gpu must be different on the 16" otherswise the 2 years old intel model 5600M will outperform the 16 gpu cores
So the 16" will have the same cpu performance but different gpu perf
I have the M1 Air which overall has been amazing. More than enough power for what I use it for but good lord there are times that small screen gets to me. I would upgrade to a larger Air the second they announced itYou beat me to saying this.
I agree with the current Face ID but it'll depend on how thin it gets in the iPhone 13 with the redesigned notch.I don't think FaceID is coming to their laptops any time soon. I don't think they can't fit the tech inside that thin a housing (the lid). It's why their laptop webcams suck.
I hope this proves successful. They could try this with the iPhone too.Uh… did you read the article?
The 14 inch and the 16 inch will have the exact same specifications, which has never been done by Apple in the past.
Some people can’t justify lugging around an almost 5 pound 16 inch machine.
This 14 sounds perfect for most people, and for those who only need a bigger screen the 16 inch is around.
But other than screen size you won’t be getting any benefits. So yes, you could buy the 14 inch without feeling like you’re missing out on any power
Not sure I follow the logic of this.Currently, the 16-inch MacBook Pro offers a significant performance improvement over the high-end 13-inch models due to its more powerful Intel chips and better thermals, so bringing the two model sizes to parity could be a major boost for owners of the smaller model.
This is incorrect. SJ absolutely kept around the older iPhones, iPods and at least one older MacBook current as value-based alternatives to the newer models.I am so annoyed with Tim Cook always keeping „last years model“ to justify price increases on updated versions. Steve Jobs didn’t do it. He wanted his users to actually experience to best they can offer and didn’t settle with „last years models“.
I'm not at all surprised about price increases (that won't be confirmed until products hit the streets) seeing as there is a chip shortage, Apple losing money due to COVID because they had to close stores plus with the chip shortage they would need to control inventory. Heck Sony announced there will be no Playstation 5's until late 2022-to early 2023 due to the chip shortage. However, from a business perspective it’s smart of course but jeeze, I don’t even want to think of the Euro prices.
Well if this is true, then they better have a base storage of 512GB and 16GB of RAM.
