Still trying to decide if I want to keep this case

Looks great on Graphite. I have a Graphite myself and chose the Midnight case but Golden Brown was a close #2 - only thing that held me back was I don't think the light brown color will age well. Hope I'm wrong and end up getting one down the line.Still trying to decide if I want to keep this caseView attachment 1849462
Looks nice. I tossed up between midnight and golden brown to go on my Sierra Blue PM. Settled on midnight and will see how the brown ages for others. Had the blue on my iPhone 12 Pro and it didn’t fare well on the front edges over about 8 months, as shown.Loving this combo on the gold 12 pro max
How is the drop protection on the Apple leather cases? The cases look pretty sturdy
Thats exactly what I wanted to hear- thanks! I wasn't thinking of going with an Otterbox, so I think the leather case and a screen protector should be good enough.A good balance between protection and slimness. Ideal for protecting against every day minor scuffs and bumps but I wouldn’t go throwing your phone down a flight of concrete steps…

THIS!Anyone else getting irritated by the speaker and port cutouts on the bottom of the apple leather case for the 13 pro lineup? I have the pro max and the speaker cutouts feel so sharp that they grate into my pinky as I support the phone.
I have the dark cherry and midnight leather case and not having the issue you areTHIS!
They should design those cutouts like that for the mute switch.
Me too!!! here is my Hermes Series 6 with the dark cherry braided loop.Officially all-in on Dark Cherry…
Bizarrely, I am not—this after whining about it last year (check my post history!)Anyone else getting irritated by the speaker and port cutouts on the bottom of the apple leather case for the 13 pro lineup? I have the pro max and the speaker cutouts feel so sharp that they grate into my pinky as I support the phone. Going ceaseless alleviates the problem entirely, so it’s not just the big heavy max model pushing down.
Maybe it’s just my grip, but the same sensation is present on two different colored cases, so that rules out a defect.
Agreed on the feel of the midnight case. I had the black leather last year on my 12 Pro and while I loved how it looked, it just didn’t really feel (or smell) like leather. This is the most impressed I’ve been on both the case and the phone in a very long time.I went 13 Pro Max graphite this year with Midnight leather. I have usually gone Saddle Brown in the past. I remember my first iPhone leather case was black leather for the 6 Plus. That case felt amazing. 13 Pro Max with Midnight leather reminds me of that. It is very grippy, almost feels like a soft rubber, kind of sticky. The Saddle Brown has always felt a bit waxy and slippery in comparison. Midnight leather is definitely the way to go and will not look like crap after wear-in. The downside is it looks plain, but I can get over that. Also I wish the bottom was exposed. Some people don’t like that but it is more comfortable on the pinkies (due to sharp edge charger and speaker cut outs). And an open bottom also helps with wiping dust off the screen in one motion top to bottom. Just my two cents…
Wonder if Apple used a better quality leather supplier this year?Agreed on the feel of the midnight case. No sir, $59 for leather and $49 for silicone.Wonder if Apple used a better quality leather supplier this year?
Is that why they’re charging more this year?
AUD$89 last year, $95 this year. Did they increase their prices in the US?
