As far as I know all the Andar cases have a pretty big metal ring, it's the Bullstrap ones that don't. (Correct me if I'm wrong).
In your pictures, the Andar case seems a lot thicker than the apple one. Is that accurate? Can you tell a difference?
Alright you got me there. I just ordered a Bullstrap case. I wish Andar / Bullstrap made cases for Android phones because I have a an Android as my work phone and another Android for my gaming phone (I play a lot of Asian games and switching region sucks on iOS especially with payment restrictions). I will have to see how the quality is from Andantannerie when it’s here, ordered a case for iPhone and another case for one of my Androids from that place.
I think the metal ring is on iPhone 13 series cases for Andar and not on earlier - just checked website and I don’t see metal ring for iPhone 12 image
Does anyone have the bullstrap magsafe wallet? I have a bullstrap magsafe case for my iPhone 12 pro Max and would like to get a matching bullstrap wallet but I've read several reviews saying that the magnets are not strong enough and it falls off a lot. Any experiences to share on this one? Thanks!
I personally use coconut oil to take care of my leather products. Cheap and efficient. You need to give a bit of time to the leather to absorb it, so don't put too much. It will also darken the leather, but not an issue if the leather is already dark to begin with, as it is the case for the Nomad rustic brown.
I used it on the past as well on Apple brown leather case (which are very clear when new), it helped giving them an uniform patina.
My navy Andar case is out for delivery a day early. It's going to be interesting to see which I end up using as the bumper/skin combo I'm currently running has really grown on me.
Am i the only one who wishes more companies would make a lighter color blue leather case for 13? Pacific Blue from 12 would be fine too. Apple needs to make a proper blue leather case without damn purple in it!
I have the Andar case in navy. I like it so much that I’ve also received one of their wallets and just ordered another of their cases in black. Great company with great products. This will be the brand I’m sticking with from now on.
I'm seriously considering switching over to an Andar wallet as getting my cards out of my Apple wallet is annoyingly difficult sometimes. Having that open slot on the front would definitely be better than having to push on the back card over and over until I'm able to get enough friction for it to start to move.
It’s strong enough to stay on when I put it in my jeans pocket without being overly careful.
I don’t have enough experience with MagSafe accessories to say how the Andar compares with others.

I received my sienna Bullstrap case for my 13 pro today. It feels like very high quality leather however I am not sure I like the open bottom anymore after having a closed bottom case for a couple years. I will most likely be putting the case on the marketplace here if anyone is interested in one and doesnt want to wait for Bullstrap to ship one.
Same, it's the winner this year for me. I usually get a black nomad too but don't want anything taller, and they are, still have last years.
Sena slim cognac wallet sleeve arrived. Their site boasts Italian full grain leather, but it feels cheap and smells of some sort of synthetic material. Maybe it’s an oil that was applied or their dye process. This sleeve doesn’t seem on par at all with my Torro sleeve.
