Sounds weird but I find them easier to use because the lip gives my pinky something to grab onto. So some of my pinky is on the phone and the lip helps keep the phone from slipping off. But I’ve been using open bottom forever so I’m pretty biased. These cases with only half the bottom covered have got to be hard/sharp on the pinky?
Hey if you makes you happy there shouldn’t be a limit. I get funny looks from the wife when she notices a new case but hey, the money could be going to crack…. Which would you prefer?Bought Andar after seeing posts on here. Arrived today and so far no complaints. Premium quality. I have leather cases coming from Andantannerie (Korean tannery selling on Etsy for international customers) next month so curious to see how those compare to Andar’s. Now I want to buy Bullstrap case too. I probably should stop, already $200 into cases at this point. Lol

I tried the wiiuka one but there is currently no one with magnet integrated. But they assured me they are about to be released. But it was very very nice leather.Would love to try the Andar case and 20% off is tempting. But 19$ shipping costs to Germany is ridiculous and no option for me (despite the addiction ?). Does anyone know a reasonable priced option (at least regarding shipping) in Europe, Germany (no Decoded, I tried it and it was terrible as regards the bottoms)?
The slippery part will go away after a few days.I got the Andar Aspen leather case in camel Tan. The order took about 7 days to arrive, not the fastest shipping in the world. It only had to come 1 state over from Phoenix to California. Color is amazing. Buttons are nice and clicky. However, this case is EXTREMELY slippery.
I previously owned a a Samsung S21 official leather case and that case had amazing patina. However, I had only paid about $12 for the case new (retail price was $60), so I took a chance with the S21 case and wiped it down with rubbing alchohol to remove the original finish. That ended up being a great decision because after about a week I could already see the case starting to patina and the case had a good balance of grippyness and soft leather feel.
At $50, I'm more hesitant to start putting chemicals on this case, but right now I see that as the only way to give this case some grip, and hopefully it doesn't negatively affect the way the case looks or ages over time.
Just use the case, your skins natural oils will make it grippier over timeI got the Andar Aspen leather case in camel Tan.
