Looks great! Its developing a very nice patina. Wish it had a closed bottom though... but that's just my preference. How does the magsafe strength compare to Apples cases?
Magsafe seems up to par with the apple case but since I have the mini, it doesn't take much to hold !
Looks great. But i see the same flaws that people complain about with Apple leather cases. The edges are dark/blackish, while rest of case has not patina nearly as much . The MagSafe ring imprint…which here is actually worst because you are developing patina / black ring with the MagSafe charger itself!
The edges are definitely getting a patina faster but its nothing like what the apple cases have been doing. With my two apple cases I tried for the 12, the edges went from tan to black, no gradual transition, it just rubbed off and looked like shi**.

The last Andar case looks like normal patina to me.

The Apple 12/13 cases peeled paint “patina” looks nothing like that.

How do people with the nomad cases prevent their cases from being scratched and beaten up? Mine looks like a bear got to it or something.

Had my Bullstrap Sienna case for a little over a month and the patina is coming along quite nicely. Very similar to the Apple Saddle Brown case back when it was good (the iPhone 7-XS era).

The Bullstrap rules as a case, but the magnets on the 13P model just feel really weak compared to so many other cases. I've had my phone fall a couple of times off my MagSafe mount, so it's a bit of a bummer honestly.

dont put it in your pocket/bag with anything else, dont drop it, dont scratch it with your nails. Throw on some conditioner on it.

Hard to not keep it in my pocket. I don’t want to constantly be holding my phone. Lol

Oh that’s a bummer to hear. I haven’t used it with a MagSafe charger yet but just ordered the Belkin 3-in-1 charging stand (the one from last year, not the new flat one that was just released). Hopefully my phone will stay attached!

Oh for the charger it'll stay attached no problem. I just found that when driving around the phone would fall off the mount then. Now I'm not doing any off-roading or anything crazy like that, but if I went over a speed bump at normal speed there was a chance it would fall.

But on the 3-in-1 it'll be fine, I didn't have any issues there.

Just received the Nomad case. The buttons are a big improvement over my 12 case. That was one of my main criticisms when I had the 12. I’m happy.

And now we've come full circle. I got an email from Nomad this morning saying the damage on my case was not covered under warranty so there's $70 down the drain. Looks like we're sticking with Midnight!

Dude, that totally stinks. They were able to give me a replacement for free when I complained about the protruding MagSafe bump at certain angle and this tiny bubble after it’s wet.

I guess the only positive you can take from this is that the case did its job and protected your phone. I"d rather have to replace a case than a phone. But still disappointing that it was toast after one fall.... especially at that price point. Maybe Santa will replace it for you. ha ha

I did consider that and that's likely why I'm not so bothered with the situation. Had the phone been naked, it would've been a corner hit so who knows how it would have fared.
