I guess that’s the one good thing about BS right? Lifetime guarantee even with drops.

Can someone tell me if the bottom cutout of the nomad leather case is sharp or not? I used the iPhone XR one and the bottom cutout is a bit sharp for my pinky. Cheers

i got a bourbon bullstrap case for my iphone 12 pmax and think i should have probably went saddle brown. Anyone have any pics of bourbon colored cases after some time? i like that its darker from the start but would love to see a natural patina on one.

Dude, that totally stinks. They were able to give me a replacement for free when I complained about the protruding MagSafe bump at certain angle and this tiny bubble after it’s wet.
This is totally normal. Mine does that too when wet. The bubbles will disappear when it dries up again.

My dark cherry iPhone 13 pro case forced patina using 99% iso alcohol and microfibre rags

This is my wife’s cherry after a few months. She has the benefit of having sweaty hands and it seems to be doing really well for her. She was always a silicone first person until I convinced her to try and now she said she would never go back

not sharp… Mine feel like any other cases bottom cutout. examples Apple leather case or Spigen clear case.

If you want to talk about edgy sharpness, my Apple leather case at every angles is “sharp” ?

Seconded. That was the reason I never kept a Nomad in the past but it feels like it's been improved this year.

I have the same dbrand leather skin on my iPad Pro magic keyboard case and really enjoyed the look and feel. I also wanted to maintain a case with a skin and the nomad is made to be put in the iPhone itself instead of a case.

Also I read the nomad reviews on the skin and didn’t feel confident in the complaints that the skin started peeling and couldn’t be reapplied if you made mistakes. Dbrand is known for their skins so I trusted them to make a better skin product than nomad as this is nomad’s 1st attempt at skins.
I purchased the dbrand full grain leather skin (the one that was offered for a limited time) based on your recommendation. I've decided to apply it directly to my phone. I made the mistake of using the phone without a case on it for a day and now I'm hooked on the way it feels/weighs. I'll post pictures once it's applied to my phone.

Very interested to see how this turns out. I bought one for my 11 Pro Max but they were on such severe backorder I just cancelled my order (or it was my 8+, I can't remember). But always thought a thick leather case like that would be fun.
Hopefully they’re not on back order. I ordered directly from their site; I’ll reach out to them later today. After looking at their store front on Pinterest I see the cases are labeled “preorder”. I’m hoping the cases are in-stock, if so, maybe I’ll receive it sometime early next week since we’re both located here in Texas. Fingers crossed!

Just got off the live chat with Sarahfina at Saddleback; the 13 cases are in-stock and shipping out as expected.

Edit: Updated information on order.

Golden brown case, i used damp magic eraser for a bit then switched to just taking the coating off with alcohol wipes. Just going to let it patina naturally instead of adding oil
This is the exact procedure I did on my new saddle brown case 12 days ago. Very happy with how is aging so far. Leather is smooth and the darkening patina isn't limited only to the sides of the phone they way it did with the coating on. Its darkening on the back where my hands grip it too. I'm cautiously optimistic that this is the best plan for getting a great look out of these cases. I've been tempted to oil it but I keep telling myself beauty takes time.

Ha nice! I hope you enjoy the texture. It’s still the best feeling out of the ones I’ve tried. Looking forward to seeing it. You can potentially look at bumper cases to accompany but I haven’t found a non bulky one (rhinoshield is both bulky and slippery apparently )

does amazon have a reputation of sending out fake apple branded leather cases? just ordered one....

I agree. I was hesitant initially to go through with it but im happy with how it came out.

This my Apple leather Midnight case after 1.5 months. No treatment. Nothing added. Just using it everyday. Natural wear and tear.

Also, this is my apple wallet that I just got yesterday.

It seems like my case is getting more blue with patina vs original color.

The iPhone 13 leather is definitely better than iPhone 12 series.

Beautiful case! I regret getting the golden brown.
