Leather Cases - Patina Proud Photos

I bought yesterday iCarer Magsafe leather case (link to ali, but I bought it from local european seller for 24 euros after sale...) Smells like leather jacket or belt, very nice surface (bit slippery)

Does someone use this case ? It has a open bottom which I like and looks identical to apple leather case.

Got my Bullstrap Sienna for my iPhone 13 PM today, Very impressed!
from Left to right: Bullstrap, Ryan London, Andar Marshal, Andar Aspen
They are identical except the leathers, comparable MagSafe strength, tactile buttons

My iPhone 12 mini black leather case after almost 1.5 year
It does not really belong to this topic as I'm not proud of it.
Did anybody try ripping the whole protective layer from official leather cases? If so how have you done it?

So far, I've been impressed with this case. Nice Patina after just under 2 months of use.

That looks nice! I’m currently using Bullstrap but damn the price is right on this one! And I dig the W logo cause my last name is williams lol.

How has the phone been holding up, I have read the leather case scratches the side frame of the phone. What do you think?
 
90 days old Bullstrap Siena on my iPhone 13 PM. Feels and looks great.

One month of on and off use, including a few rub downs with leather conditioner to clean it up. Pronounced dark spot where my index finger rests below the camera bump, and pronounced darkening at the edges.

Really liking the contrast developing between the leather and the rubber rim, loving the constrat with the tan/gold of the phone, and the case feels great now that's picked up some oils.

Hi guys) Please tell me, does the original brown leather case from the iphone 13 Pro acquire a patina over time?

Feeling proud of my old dark cherry patina. I didn't realise that it has darkened this much until I did a side by side comparison with the new one. The awesome part of this is that it has been an even patina, not quite the good old days but this has been by far my favourite colour from apple cases. It has different shades depending on the lighting. Most of the time it looks black indoors. In the second and third picture the contrast of different shades on the old one is visible. I love it! I hope apple keeps this colour for the next iteration.

EDIT: I mean the third and the forth picture for the contrast of different shades.

Just received a new case from Ryan London. The leather looks, smells and feels great, but I noticed that the lip around the screen is quite nice at the top of the phone but gradually tapers to no lip at all at the bottom. (Yes the phone is pushed in as far as possible.) I emailed RL and got this reply:
“Thank you for your email. The case is not defective. I personally use the Ryan London shell cases as well. The case is like the leather shoes, it will ease in within a few days.”
Anyone have a similar experience? I’m skeptical.

This is another reason why I like nomads, being rubber sides it's even all the way around, apple leather is bad for it too.

I’d firmly ask again for a refund. I had the same thing on two Andar Aspens but the one I got from Ryan London has a perfect lip top to bottom.

Looks a lot like the deep violet leather case for the 12 series!
