Aspen is nowhere near the quality of Bullstrap, IMO. This one looks the same as Bullstrap and Ryan London which are significantly better in fit & finish. The Aspen has nice leather but the fit is terrible, at least in my experience.
I agree aspen has terrible fitment BullStrap is the best case out there

I went back to using my apple leather case. It has the best in hand feel and the buttons are superior. I also like the Bullstrap buttons, but apple leather beats everything when it comes to the in hand feel by far.
I used to think that too, until the case developed that tacky feel that doesn’t go away. Just got a black leather case from Ryan London. Loving it so far. Reminds me a lot of my iPhone X case (back when Apple used good leather).

I love the lethear on my Aspen, although like you said, the fit could use some work. I have noticeably less lip at the bottom of my case than the top. Not enough to make me hesitant about using it. but it seems they struggle with consistancy on that part of their cases

1 month Nomad vs new Sienna

How do you like Bullstrap vs Nomad? I had one of the Bullstrap leather cases for my 12 Pro Max - I loved the fit and color but didn’t think it was quality. I bought all leather cases from Nomad for my 13 Pro and haven’t turned back, but admit that I prefer the Bullstrap fit.
You are right. The nomad is better to use, better to touch, but the Bullstrap has better quality. There is no exact winner I think.

For iPhone 12/pro, Nomad rugged 50% off on Verizon website

Ordered one. My first leather until I wait for the 14 pro. Let’s see what this patina is all about. Going to get the sequoia green wallet also. Hopefully that and the brown nomad will go good combo with the pacific blue in the corner

Had the midnight blue for about a year. Picked up cornflower today sorta by accident. I mean, I saw it on offer up and and didn't ask the actual color. It was only $20 so I said, what the heck. Not a lot of pics on how the cornflower patinas over time but I suppose I'll find out.

Love(d) the midnight blue leather. That with graphite was always my choice.

Nomad’s taken quite a beating:

Hello!

Can anyone show me a photo about a 6+ months old Bullstrap Sienna vs Nomad rustic brown?

Thank you!

Bullstrap owners - how are your corners? A couple weeks ago I received a Ryan London case that generally looks and feels great, with one big exception. The corners, especially at the top of the phone, are wrinkled rather than smooth like the back and the flat sides. It looks like the leather simply isn’t pulled tight or well-shaped at the corners, giving them a rough look and feel, which is disappointing for an otherwise very nice case. Seeing the 20% off sale, I’m considering giving Bullstrap a try, but curious if they tend to have the same problem.

My corners are amazing! I have two bullstraps, ocean and sienna and both of them are superb in terms of quality and fit. The buttons are just as good if not better than the apple leather cases as well!
