Apples case being thinner feels better but Bullstrap’s leather feel is a lot better IMO.

I have returned my MagSafe leather case and wallet, the leather is just not good enough.
For me, apple 100%. I use the midnight leather case so the discoloration around the edges isn’t that visible. Idk why but out of all the leather cases I’ve tried, none of them have that same look, fit, and feel as the apple cases.
While I don’t like the leather on Apple cases I do agree that they fit the phone like a glove and are really nice in the hand.
Other leather cases, while the leather is obviously much higher quality and feels better, the case often makes the phone feel larger, heavier, and a bit less awesome in the hand.
I used to be a huge fan of Sena cases - their leather was strong, well made, and patinaed amazingly over years of use. Then they went paper thin. I definitely miss the leather cases of the iPhone 8 days.
Andar and Bullstrap and BlackBrook (never seems to have them in stock) are the last standouts (that I know of, I’m sure there are others) of heavy leather cases.
My kings loot leather case is pretty awesome too. It’s the same exact design of the apple leather case but with Bullstrap quality leather 😎
Agreed. I always end up going back to the apple case. I have an Andar, BS and Nomad. Something about the fitment, that apple logo stamp and the feel in your hand. I did drop the phone once with the apple case from about 4.5 ft and everything was fine. Might give kings loot a go in the 14.
BullStrap is better. Apple leather just looks fake and no matter how hard you try to force the patina it will never look as good as bullstraps
How’s the fit and finish on the KL? As precise as the Apple leather? Just noticed the price dropped to $47. Very tempting.
This was the only one I could find so far. I wonder if the sides are going to be darker than the back. Hoping OP could post update on the patina.
I don’t have pics of the case because I don’t have it anymore. I still think it’s a great case and it will patina. Only reason I did not keep it was because of the color I’ma huge fan of the sienna bs and darker browns like Wilken leather case, but this case is good because it offer button protection

The fit is better than apple leather and the finish is way higher quality leather than apples!
