I am curious how many cases do you guys own for your phones? I always feel bad getting more than 2-3 cases if I don’t plan to keep the phone more than 1-2 years.
Me personally - I usually have 4-5. Then I settle into 1-2 that I like. In the past I’ve had 6-9. This last phone I really tried to reduce that. Same - I do 1-2 year phones.

there is no magsafe ring visible as in the aspen case. Does this work with magnet autoholdee and charge with magsafe?
The MagSafe ring is visible on the inside of the case, as you can see in the attached picture. My car holder is a MagSafe-only one, so it does hold well with it :) don’t have a MagSafe charger though, can’t comment much on it, but I’d expect it to work perfectly.

You should probably ask them about it, not sure if the 12 models have them or not, since it’s my first time buying Andar :p

I get 2-3 cases since I upgrade yearly. Usually a leather case and something thin, maybe a clear case.

Decided to finally give bullstrap a try, so here it is brand spankin' new next to my camel tan Andar case(~5 months of usage) and me dusty ole saddle brown magsafe wallet that I hardly use any more. The bullstrap case does not smell nearly as strong or good as any of my previous leather cases did at first, but it looks pretty though the corners do feel and look dry af.

Oh and it was quickly clear that it has the weakest magnets compared to andar and the oem apple case.

Do you prefer the Bullstrap or Andar?

Just notice today that my rather new iPhone 13 mini leather Apple case got a nick on the back. I knew it wouldn't stay perfect forever but why does it always happen so soon?! Oh the pain!

Trying to decide on the following cases, Nomad, Bullstrap, or Andar. All 3 appear to be good cases. I really like the camel color (which Nomad doesn't offer). I have an iPhone 12 pro and tend to prefer slimmer cases. Anything I'm missing here? TIA

Here is how I see it:

Nomad

+ Price
+ Good reputation
- Only dark brown or black

Bullstrap

+ Color
+ Good reviews
- Bottom lip open
- Price
- No magsafe
- Logo

Andar

+ Color
- Bottom Lip open
- Logo

Since I have the Bullstrap and Andar (and have used Nomad in the past) -- I'd add that Bullstrap fits the phone a bit closer than the Andar does. Andar's case is a tiny bit bigger than the Bullstrap.

Nomad - very big, with a big bottom lip with plastic that (when I had it) cut into my pinky.

So in the aspect that you prefer slimmer cases, the Bullstrap is going to be the slimmest case of the 3 that you have.

Nomad is by far the biggest, Andar next, and Bullstrap is the thinnest of the 3 - fits the case almost like an Apple case.

Thanks for the info. I grabbed the Bullstrap. It's really good. Nice thin fit, good leather. Do I think it's worth the full price? No...I don't think any case is worth $85 but at a discount, it's very well done.

Hey everyone, I'm sure I'm not the only one that received an email from Nomad about a new leather that they're using in addition to Horween. Does anybody have familiarity or input on what the Ecco tannery leather is all about? I guess more options are always a good thing, as long as the quality is there.

That's the same leather that Decoded use on their cases. Not sure if that helps any or not.

Just received my bullstrap case god i love how this thing feels on my sweaty fingers lmao, pics form this thread made me pull the trigger on the case, ill definitely post some updates once it's been worn a little

Just an update on the case, it has darkened and softened and looks great, only problem is I’ve noticed the leather is VERY thin on the outside so any drop on a hard surface will cause some bruising, I had a drop on to asphalt where it slipped out my pocket getting out the car magbe 2ft drop and it dinged hard that it showed the material underneath the leather. I’m going to continue using this case until it doesn’t loook good but so far I think it has some character, just wish the leather was slightly thicker on the edges.

If it's anything like the leather used in their shoes, it should be ok.

Just request a new one, you have a lifetime guarantee. I dropped my phone recently and I got such bruises on the case. I wrote an email to Bullstrap, attached a photo and next day they sent a new case
