Interesting to hear of RL customer service.

They replied quickly when I wanted to return mine and refunded within an hour of me receiving notification it was delivered back to them

perhaps a small business is having a little bit of trouble with, from what this thread would suggest, an influx of orders, and may be entitled to some understanding during this busy christmas season.

that is just a guess though.

I feel the old saddle brown leather case I had for the XS was easier to artificially patina. This one looked like crap at first but the more I sand it and use baseball glove oil and coconut oil, the better it's starting to come out. I've had this case since launch day but I've been prepping it ever since and it hasn't been on my phone at all yet.
Have you been carrying it between your ass cheeks for weeks, because that’s what it looks like.
 
Just got my RL case and first impressions are I like it a lot. It is definitely less bulkier than the Andar case I was using which felt sort of odd at first after putting it on the phone but quickly adjusted to it. It doesn't have the over powering smell of leather like the Andar had but has the same feel in quality. Buttons are awesome and tactile and the open bottom feels much more natural to me at least for swiping etc. So far it seems like a solid choice for those that don't mind the open bottom cases. I am anxious to see how my BS "revised batch" compares but am thinking it is going to be the same case more or less aside from the branding. The only downside so far is the shipping times which seem to vary from order to order.

The delivery window for my Cretanbull is coming up and I'm sure it's going to be in that same batch. I'm beyond pleased with my Ryan London so we'll see how the communication with the seller goes if I decide to send it back when I get hands on. Regardless of which I choose, I'll still have that open bottom that is just lovely with the FLOLAB screen protector.

These cases get better as they age and I just can't over-express how nice it feels after a full month of usage. I also can't recall the last time I've gone this long without dropping my phone; I usually break my screen protectors within a week. Happy to say other than the MagSafe imprints the case still looks and feels brand new.

Regarding Ryan London, they're a small business shipping internationally and usually within a week. Seems to me the delays we're seeing are due to customs which is completely out of the seller's control I would imagine.

I just got the wilken leather case and I’m pleasantly surprised with the quality. Especially with it being a case I found off of Amazon!

Wow. With the holidays that means cases will be received by next year. I do wonder how many freebies they’re giving out to make up for the delayed orders. That’s $90 a case! Now how long will it take to get the freebies lol

Don’t be so harsh, they’re making you a free valuable and pricey gift to make things better for you. They faced an issue with a new supplier. This could happen to any business. They apologised numerous times and trying their best.
I’ve never owned a Bullstrap case but at least they’re professionals.
If you are not satisfied you can cancel the order anytime.
At the end of the day it’s just a case, not real first world problems.
 
Just as an fyi too and it may be part of the issue…

My company deals with a local guy who custom makes leather holsters for medical first responders and leather belts, also bags etc. He was telling me that since Covid it has been EXTREMELY difficult to get the hides needed to make leather goods. Due to the reduction in livestock for meat production because of closed restaurants and stores, there are less hides available.

That may also be contributing to delays. I’m in Canada but I’d imagine it’s not exactly a localized thing.
