Can confirm this years BS minimalist case is spot on fit and quality. Super snug. I’ve heard amazing things about LC cases for the 17 this year as well regarding the fit, buttons, leather quality etc. Have a few on the way and I’ll report back.
Don’t ask me how I ended up with two, but these Muujo MagSafe leather wallers are awesome. Folds into a stand and holds 6 cards. Feels a lot like the Apple leather before they discontinued it.

The lucky coin was one of my favorite cases for my 15 pro so I’m sad to report the LC for the Air is a complete fail. The biggest issue is giant camera control cover that constantly depresses the button. I have double click turned on but if my finger even rest on the camera control it opens the camera app and starts recording video. The camera control cover is also not centered so it causes a bulge on the lip around the screen. My other problem is the weight. My 15oro lucky coin wasn’t bad at 33grams but the Air case is 40grams which ruins light weight of the phone so I’m not going to attempt to exchange it. Pretty disappointed in LC this year. My favorite design for a leather case so far has been the nomad traditional with the open sides but the bottom corners are too loose so I had to return it as well. I’m having no luck with leather Air cases. Next up is installing the Dbrand leather skin.

Yeah I go caseless most of the time, especially when I'm out and using the magsafe leather wallet but around the house I need a little more grip to keep my phone from sliding out of my pocket. That's why Im trying the dbrand skin next.
No one has it yet, it was due to launch last Monday but got delayed to this coming Monday.
I do have mine already posted and on its way to me though…
I’d take the risk… 20% off is a decent deal to be honest for a case design that has no real rival.

I ended up canceling my bluebonnet order. I originally ordered my case back on 9/26 and like everyone else got the 3-5 shipping in my initial email receipt. I then heard nothing for two weeks. I then reached out and got the “it’s still on the way” but it never shipped. Then I reached out again and finally got a shipment email with a tracking number but it stayed in pre-shipment status for three weeks. Finally, I just contacted my credit card company for a charge back. I would say at best bluebonnet is not ready to be more than a local company in Austin. At worst, they aren’t making the cases themselves as they claim but are getting them from overseas and slapping their name on them. Either way, they don’t seem to be trustworthy when it comes to their customers and communication
Black Nomad Traditional Horween arrived the other day. Loving it so far. The leather feels less soft and more rough than my regular modern, but I’m sure it will soften over time. I wish it had almost no lip around the screen like the modern does though.

Seen a few people having to return them as the leather was not tidy around the camera area, looked very cheap and rushed to market.

Yes with the screen protector the lip is almost flush on the modern. It feels really nice.
