Awesome looking case. Has anyone had any issues with these Ryan London cases not staying tight on iPhone 14P's? I just commented on the apple leather case thread as I too have returned two that were defective. Hoping this Ryan is a perfect alternative. Thanks for any feedback.

All of mine have fit perfectly and have been way more snug on the corners than Apple’s.

Got my bullstrap Sienna and loving it so far. Are you guys getting an even patina on your cases? My Sienna is starting to patina really well below the camera hump. But everything above and next to the camera hump is pretty much a different tone now (almost brand new).

You have to consider it’s going to age much more slowly where your fingers aren’t resting during use. It’ll eventually catch up.

Has anyone experienced colour transfer / degradation of leather on Ryan London 14 pro cases?

I have a black RL leather case for about a week, and I am getting black marks on my desk, clothes and pieces of leather rubbing off on my hands from normal use.

All the “grain” / texture seems to be smoothing out on the edges. Is this normal ? Never had this happen to other cases / Bullstrap.

Not using hand sanitizer or anything so not sure why it is shedding so aggressively. Is this part of the patina lol

Would this show up in a photo? If so can you share one? I had a similar issue with another brand earlier this year and they were able to trace it back to a particular batch of leather from a supplier where the dying process had an issue. It was replaced for me at no cost.

No such issues on my black RL, using it for about 10 days now and still looks like brand new.

I got some shmutz on my black RL case and when I used a wet cloth to try to get it off the black came right off onto the cloth. Needless to say I’m not using it anymore.

I can take a photo when I get home tonight if anyone’s interested.

So overall as someone whos been on the fence for a while on an actual leather case, ive been really happy so far. Just watching this thing patina over time, become more grippy, and overall evolve has been pretty fun. Just hope I dont go down the rabbit hole now and buy 200 leather cases lol

Got the purple leather 14 pro case from Aliexpress in last night. Ordered on Dec. 02.

First impressions are good. There was a slight chemical smell which went away by this morning.

Leather smell is not as strong as my Andar, but it’s there (unlike Apple’s).

Fit is tight and buttons are nice and clicky. MagSafe strength is good and feels about as strong as my Apple leather case.

Overall, I’m very pleased and the price is very good.

I put some leather milk on it the other day and didn’t get any black colour transfer

Haha. Agreed with this 100%. So far I’m loving my Ash Cretanbull so much. I haven’t try my marine color yet because this ash is so comfortable to hold after a couple weeks. Soft and not slippery at all, ages really well imo. Not perfect but if it wasn’t for a very very small leather wrapping around power button I would have give it a perfect 5 stars. Even that is not an issue as I got over it.

It’s mental isn’t it. This is why I’ve never had a bullstrap. I have an older iPhone and bullstrap sells on Amazon Canada now for older phones so I was able to get one for $62 can including shipping and duty. They would sell way more if the offered the newer phones on Amazon too.
