Surprisingly well actually, it’s a bit shined but the bright color masks it better

I haven’t had a problem in the past with chipping with silicone on my iPhone 12 Pro but I don’t throw it in a purse and in the past have rotated cases often enough that I’m not always putting the same one through it’s paces

I am my own bloody worst enemy.

Love my blue YNW, posted several times. Said no more £50/60 cases.

Went out and bought a new Apple Ink today 🤐 I know the leather is crap, in the long run but damn I have missed the slim form factor, closed bottom case and colour. Noticed a small scratch on the bottom of my phone and the OCD took over 😂. Was looking at pics I’d posted on here of my old Ink and I had to get it again.

That’s it. I’m drawing the line. I’ll get a new phone in nine months. No more cases…..


….for a little while.

(Luckily the wife doesn’t really take much notice of my phone cases)

Mine does. I buy her one every once in a while so I don’t hear it as bad but she definitely notices.

I’m still using my Ink case as well. You really can’t beat just how tight everything feels. I’m not seeing any signs of uneven wear/chipping but then again I never have. I’ve wondered in the past if it doesn’t have something to do with the pH variances in peoples’ oils and sweat.
 
Just received my replacement Bullstrap 14 Pro Max Ocean case. Check out the differences from the first one I received from the pre order. Camera cut out also is a bit different. New one on the left, old one on the right. Unfortunately, I think this will be my last Bullstrap unless they fix shipping prices to Canada.

does the ink feel any different than midnight?

cause umbar didnt feel as nice or as grainy as the midnight I got.

not sure if variation or not, but I think was similar with the black for iPhone 12 vs another other apple leather color

I 'think' it feels a little smoother out of the box than my midnight did - Can't be sure though.

Tried a few on in store to get the best fitting one and luckily got a couple of very faint 'tiger stripes' on it

Those look fantastic. Not sure how the drilled holes would compare to Apple’s design in regards to speaker output but the attention to detail on that case is right up there.

I hadn't even noticed with the smaller thumbnail, good catch. that is interesting, speaker cut outs as if the silicone case only for the leather

Don’t buy Cretanbull! Horrible customer service! WOW, buy from @AndAr and @bullstrap way better quality and customer service! I received a damaged case and asked for an exchange and from them to pay return shipping because they sent me a damaged product.

The top of the felt on the inside was not glued on at all, wanted an exchange and wasn’t going to pay for return shipping is the case damage wasn’t my fault. Ridiculous customer service, insulting and disrespectful, I left out other correspondence.

So you post a snippet of your conversation with them and that you're upset that you have to pay return postage. I'm not taking sides on this but I feel like there was obviously some other stuff said between you and them. I find it hard to believe that would be their response straight out of the gate. As for postage, its fairly common to have to pay return postage when returning an item with most companies. Post a pic of the case so we can see the defect.

Where’s the rest of conversation? You have to back up what you’re telling us here.
From their answer can’t match the defect you support.
Show us a picture so we know exactly what we’re talking here.
Lastly, when you ordered the case what did you read (if you read) in their faq page?

PS: I don’t own a CretanBull case.
 
I can second their customer service being garbage. I ordered a case and tried several times to cancel the order but never got a response.

Yeah, we really need to see the rest of the conversation and also the damage on the case
