Leather Cases - Patina Proud Photos

What is the best quality leather case for the 14 Pro Max?

I know many people recommend Ryan London but I want a case that covers the charging port/speaker grills. Ryan London cases don't do that...

Fully closed your probably between Andar and the Apple case. Of those two if the leather itself is top priority go Andar. If fitment/slimmer go Apple. Buttons in my experience can be a crapshoot between the two but generally speaking Apple should be more tactile. I have had bad buttons on both for my 14 PM. There are others I just never experienced using them.

I have heard that the official Apple leather cases are terrible and not worth the money at all. I’ve also heard that the phone pops out from the corners of the case. Is this true?

Please can you post a link to the Andar case.

I have an Apple leather in ink and a black Ryan London and use them interchangeably. I’ve never once had a corner pop out and while the third party leather is nicer, Apple’s isn’t terrible by any stretch of the imagination.

I would definitely have gone for the Ryan London. I have heard nothing but good things about Ryan London cases. I just don’t know and an open bottom leather case.

I want a brown case and deciding between the official Apple leather case and the Andar case.

I also saw that. I hope that’s not true. I was hoping they would go back to what they used to be like. But if that’s the case, I hope bullstrap releases a full coverage case. Or Andar gets rid of the metal camera bump.

That peeling green case is disappointing for sure, but I believe that's the black leather base showing in that picture (which covers a plastic shell). A couple years ago, they switched from leather color stains to leather paint on black leather (not sure if stained black or just dyed during tanning). My lilac magsafe wallet has spots where the paint has abraded off and is showing the underlying black leather too. The leather quality seems good to me, but leather paint is going to wear off no matter who manufactures it.

Like so many others on here, if I do get another leather case in the future, I'll likely go with a leather stain style for attractive patina as it ages. I doubt I'll ever opt for pleather, as I'm trying to minimize my use of plastic. Caseless for now. Maybe I'll get a bamboo case. 😁

You can never go wrong with the midnight case 😄. That is the one I wanted but it was out of stock so i ended up getting the ink case which has been great though! Only downside I have noticed is that the case seems to have gotten darker over time
