Pics? Is it the Nappa leather one?Rocking the Ali YNW case past couple days for 14PM
And kinda neat how it has rounded edges more closely resembling the feel of iPhone 15’s vs boxy for OEM
I love Andar for this particular aspect, the lip (all around including the bottom) is more prominent.Do any of the leather cases have a decent lip on the front? The lip on the decoded wasn’t much
Pics? Is it the Nappa leather one?
I think the Lonli Edition does have full grain leather, at least according to their listingLooks great, but unfortunately sold out. This is one of the only case makers that make a light brown/grey color as opposed to the warm saddle brown, so I'll probably try this once they're back in stock.
I've been scouring this thread for awhile and here's my consensus from what I've read for full grain leather cases:
Non Full Grain Leather cases:
- Bullstrap - Flush camera bump and open bottom (I don't like either). Most expensive and price increasing even further. But has good color options.
- Ryan London - Open bottom and flush camera bump like BS. Only 3 color options (Black, Dark Brown, Saddle Brown). Good cheaper alternative to BS if you like one of those colors.
- Andar Aspen - Seems like a good option, lots of colors. A bit thicker than the other cases.
- Keyway - Only 3 colors (Brown, Black, Light Brown/Grey). Similar to Andar but thinner. Less expensive than the other cases. Good option if you don't care about metal X branding on back of phone.
- Nomad - Leather only on the back. TPU on the sides, but possibly better protection because of that.
- Mujjo - Seems members here not that impressed with the quality of this one. Doesn't say full grain in the description, unlike some of their older cases, so not sure.
- Lonli - Has crooked buttons apparently. Nappa leather.
- Decoded - Massive metal camera cutout and branding. Genuine European Aniline Leather.
- Bellroy - Not mentioned here, but they also have cases with the action button coming later. Eco-tanned leather.
Did you receive your navy Andar Aspen case yet? How do you like it?I’ve ordered the navy Andar aspen but I’ve been told by a few forum users of colour bleed onto MagSafe chargers etc. Does anyone else have experience of this? I’d rather not have all my gear stained!

All of these are full grain. Just because it says "aniline leather" or "eco-tanned leather" does not mean it isn't full grain.Non Full Grain Leather cases:

Thanks, will make the editAll of these are full grain. Just because it says "aniline leather" or "eco-tanned leather" does not mean it isn't full grain.
Aniline just means the method of how the leather was dyed. Eco-tanned is water saving tanning method, which makes the leather look like crap. Can still be full grain though.
They do look nice, just wish they had green. Also, wonder how easy their return policy is? Also - wish they did not have the X on the case.Keyway 15PM just restocked leather cases. Just ordered the Slate leather.
I cancelled the order. Didn’t wanna run the risk of ruining my MagSafe gear for the sake of a case.Did you receive your navy Andar Aspen case yet? How do you like it?
Thanks! I did the same.Keyway 15PM just restocked leather cases. Just ordered the Slate leather.
The Keyway is so good. Thanks! I did the same.
Because what my life was lacking was more cases for my new 15PM....

Same, hoping there’s some movement soon!Ryan London sent tracking number 2 days ago, but nothing has been sent yet. Hopefully it arrives sometime next week, but I have my doubts.
I feel the same. For me its about the journey not the destination. I want to watch it happen and enjoy it along the way.Why are everyone in such a rush, so much that they darken their case with oil? Patina should not be rushed![]()

Forced ones just never look right to me. I'm guilty of it, I tried with my old iphone 12 case. Now I just let it happen on its own.I understand the thinking. A lot of people see beautiful patina pics online and want to get there ASAP
Normally I don’t mess with it too much but I wasn’t much of a fan of the color at first and wished it was a smidgens darker to start off. But I do understand where you’re coming from. The coconut oil was also me trying to water proof it a little more since I work outside; it’s seemed to help my past cases in regards to sweat so I wanted to try it out early this time around. I know how we all feel about forced patina but I don’t know if the thin layer i put changed the color very much but it certainly helped with not having the water welts. Why are everyone in such a rush, so much that they darken their case with oil?
