I think the dude that kept posting about the $60 vegan case with a cpu vent killed that thread. It was worth it for the Prius comment though😂
Well that’s unfortunate.
As Apple’s leather cases were crap when it comes to patina you’d think this thread would be doing better than ever but as has been said many times, patina is a slow process so it is what it is.

But hey, I’m no mod so all I can do is gripe and move on.
But it is the most entertaining it's been in years! I keep coming back here even though I have my case already. I think some will just not be happy with any case that is not made by Apple, quality be damned. Really wonder if there would be this level of nitpick if Apple released a thicker "heavier" leather case this year.
As for the lack of patina pics, not enough time has passed for any meaningful patina to post. People are just receiving their cases right now and some don't even have theirs shipped yet. I'd give it til around early 2024 to get back on track.
I got you. Here is a nice day 16 patina pic of my Keyway case. AND it’s sitting on top of my deck chairs that I built so you also have wood patina. That’s 2 patinas for the price of 1 right there!

Well I don’t know if this is considered patina yet but I’ve been using my “apple leather case” from AliExpress for my 15 PM and I’ve dropped it 3 times. Got a couple of dings. But I keep going back to this case. I just love the feel. I use a round MagSafe PopSocket and charge at night with a MagSafe stand.

Wow. That looks good. $72 though. BS is about $20-30 more and you get replacement cases. If BS closes the bottom, I’d probably be more inclined to bite the $98 bullet. Almost feels like the owner of RL is lurking in this forum. Probably saw people complaining about their camera bumps and open bottom.

For me I might want it solely cause I liked my ryan london leather better than my andar. But the cases look identical.
Wouldn’t be shocked to see if ryan london etc stalk this thread. Would be a good idea for them.
Switching over to my Sienna Bullstrap case. While the Wilken is pretty much the same thing I just love the sienna color too much. I do like how that the wilken started to show patina after just weeks
Oh I agree, mine usually do too, I was just told by our resident, self appointed leather guru here that NOT seeing any wear or patina after 3.5 weeks was normal.🙄 Your cases look great by the way and that IS normal wear.

Hello! The second batch of cases are en route to our central warehouse, and will ship out early next week. ✌🏼
The first batch of cases were sold mostly to customers based in Singapore (where we're based). Because of timezone difference, the launch newsletter was delivered to Singapore subscribers couple of hours in advance, and they pretty much accounted for 90% of our initial shipment. The second batch is not far behind, and are already on the way to our central warehouse where they'll be packed and shipped to international customers.
Which of the Ryan London, Andar Aspen and the Mujjo is closer to the feel of the original Apple case from previous years? I’m referring to the back shape and the edges etc.
