Yeah here’s a day 1 pic versus now. It started off lighter than the Keyway but it’s a little darker now. It still doesn’t feel as soft as the Keyway or my old apple leather cases but I just love being able to use the phone without a case. I tried putting a case on when I left the house but it caused the area around the camera hump to start peeling off so I had to hit it with a hairdryer and restick it so I don’t recommend using it with a case. I wish dbrand had a light grey to go with the titanium pros, I sent them an email but I doubt it happens.
Looks beautiful. I’m super careful with my phone but don’t trust myself enough to go without a case. I’ll stick with my Keyway for now just to be sure. But if I ever decide to go caseless this is something I would 100% grab.

Nice, I used their leather skin back years ago with my 6s and loved that it was slim, but how does this affect MagSafe, are you able to use a wallet and chargers etc?
I haven’t had any issues with my apple leather wallet falling off but it definitely has a little more wiggle than when it’s connected to a case. MagSafe charger works fine.

Thanks, I added AC+ because I don’t trust myself 100% either. I would stay with a case for the 15 since it weighs less than the pro but the 15pro is the perfect weight without a case.

Looks awesome.

Anyone have input on the latest Andar Aspen and color bleeding? Have seen some reports about past cases staining MagSafe pads and clothing.
I’ve been using the technically red andar for about a week, no dye bleed just yet. I didn’t start experiencing minimal dye bleed on my 14PM andar until about a month in. At the 2 month mark it was enough for me to toss the case. As the patina developed the case seemed to bleed more.

This sounds so bad! Poor dying processes we assume?

I've had two phone cases with a bleeding issue over the years. The first one was a Decoded brown leather case on my iPhone XR back when that phone when it was new. The case didn't bleed any color into my hands, but it did bleed color into the antenna bands on the white XR phone turning them all brown. Unfortunately I didn't discover this until the case had been on the phone for several weeks. The second one was a case on my iPhone 11 from a small handmade leather shop in Poland called Geometric Goods. That case did bleed color into my hands but the owner of the company was super good about it. Turned out he had a bad batch of leather from the tannery and everything that was made with that batch had bleeding issues. He replaced the case right away at no charge and let me keep both of them. Overall I'd say its pretty rare that leather case bleeds. I've probaby owned about 30-40 leather cases over the past 15 years and only two of them had an isssue. Hopefully Andar has solved their issue. That red leather must have a ton of dye in it though to acheive that color so I guess we wait and see.

Just ordered myself one of these bad boys to compliment my keyway whiskey case

What a colour!!

Anyone know if a loophole where I can get one of these shipped to the UK??
Set up a reship account. https://www.reship.com/ I should note I haven't done this but I know others who have. I believe there was someone on here who did this to get a Keyway to the UK too... Can't recall the user name. I'm sure they will see this and comment though.

Edit: It was @RRC Perhaps they can provide some info on this.

Oh really? Maybe they’ll add more devices in time, hopefully.
I’ve got two new (yes two) replacement cases on their way from Keyway to replace my defective one from back in the thread, so I’ll just see which I like most and keep the others as spares as I don’t plan on changing this phone for at least 3-5 years.
I remember you used Reship for shipping in UK/EU, right?
Do you remember how much the fee was? Or the package dimensions to estimate the shipping?

I use a company called Shipito. They have different shipping rates depending how long you’re willing to wait…

That link is their shipping calculator which should give you an idea of cost.

It’s not the cheapest case after shipping fees but you do get the case you want which means you won’t buy endless orders trying to make up for not buying what you wanted in the first place lol.

I’ll agree that they really need to start offering international shipping and do some marketing to get their name out there to the masses as they’re missing out on many sales!

Reship might be a better choice because they operate in Canada. Keyway is Canadian so I’m thinking you could minimize duty costs by not shipping to the US first.

I just got my Tortora Bare Skin case, and I wanted to share my initial impressions and ask for some feedback, particularly from @Bare Cases or anyone who has used this case. First off, I love the color and the leather quality is excellent – it feels premium and fits my device snugly. The Magsafe compatibility is as expected, no issues there. I did notice that my action button is slightly off-center, but it's not a significant concern for me.

However, my main issue lies with the buttons. The edges on these are unexpectedly sharp. I'm talking about the kind of sharp that feels like I could actually cut my finger if I applied enough pressure. This level of sharpness seems unusual for a case.

@Bare Cases, should the buttons be this sharp? Looking forward to hearing back and seeing if this is a common issue or something unique to my case.

Thanks in advance for any insights!
Just received my case today and completely agree. Leather feels great but these are the worst buttons I’ve seen on any case I’ve bought. They catch your finger anytime you brush against them. Did yours get any better with usage?

i would assume so, seems like they need a better dyed sealant. I will note that this years aspen did feel more dry out the box and scratches way easier than last years. I picked up a few scratches just from my nails on day 1.

As promised here are some photos of the Bare Case Skin in cinnamon with the natural titanium 15 pro max. I've been on this thread complaining about the long ship times, but now that it's here my initial impression is good!

The color is a little more orange/red than I was expecting, I think their marketing photos bring down the saturation a bit. But it's pleasing. It's a similar hue of reddish brown as the Lonli Edition

The leather is smooth out the box, feels good in the hand, and shows some micro texture/character as well that I like.

I like the copper-like color choice of the metal buttons and camera ring, it complements the color of the case IMO

My buttons look to be all aligned properly, are clicky, and do not have a sharp edge as others are experiencing.

The photos are taken in my office with only natural window light so hopefully they show the true color of the case

Overall having only had it for the past couple hours I think Bare have done a good job. I hope others that have had to reach out to Bare for support with their cases get it resolved. And that Bare in general does a better job with fulfillment times.

Only thing left now is to see how it patinas over time
