lol me and you both. I have no idea why I put alcohol on it. Learned my lesson. I saw it on a YouTube video I believe and it was so slippery that I decided to try it. Big mistake lol.

Use Andar’s own conditioner and protector, can recommend that.

And for anyone who doesn’t care for patina but wants to protect their case, Crep protect leather spray for shoes/sneakers works great as well.

As KB has just said. Patience is key. Just keep using it and it’ll become less slippery as it ages

Yeah, that’s the one it also works great at blending any scratches and scuffs you may get over time without removing the patina it develops.

I wish it were more discrete on the AirPods case as well. Otherwise, the set looks really nice

As bad as the last Apple leather cases were, they're still miles ahead of the FineWoven cases IMO. I would however strongly recommend one of the alternatives from Andar, Bullstrap, Wilken, Keyway etc over either of the two you are considering.

Thank you for your advice. The thing is I’d like to have Find my, in case I loose the wallet and only Apple ones have this option

I think the photos make the logo seem more prominent, it’s actually fairly subtle in the flesh but I can appreciate it’s not going to be for everyone - although personally I think it’s better than a massive Apple logo lol.

Logos don't bother me at all. They tend to become less visible over time as the leather darkens anyways. I think they all look great.

The find my feature on apple wallet is virtually useless, no? Stops tracking as soon as it’s off your phone and hardly works when attached. Pretty sure ESR has a wallet that has 24/7 find my support

As soon as they integrate AirTag type tech into an Apple Wallet, I’ll get a new one.

My big conundrum now is the original case has a better grain pattern but the new one has better buttons. Life is tough! 😁
