Anyone has a Meyer Lemon that has been used for some time? Wanted to see how it patinas over time.
Hopefully they have changed their wrapping system where the leather wraps under the tpu bottoms and sides. While I absolutely love Nomad cases, the company itself and their missions statement; I’ve had bad luck with their cases so far. I ordered one for my xr and the leather started to peel up at the corners where it wraps into the tpu. I only used the case for a few weeks. I emailed Nomad and without hesitation they sent out a replacement case with no questions asked. I simply asked them if there was a solution for the problem and they just sent me a new case which was freaking awesome! The second case started to peel as well so I gave up on the Nomad line for now. Can you post some pics when the case arrives? I find myself still wanting to purchase one of their cases just because of how well they’ve treated me.
I’m waiting for someone to eventually post this too before I decide on it.
Although I'm sure someone will post before then, another option is also waiting for Apples holiday period to roll around, i think its from mid or end of November or so, anything purchased from Apple then will have a fixed extended return date of 8 January 2020, (like in previous years, 8 January 2019, and so on). Then you can keep the case for well over a month and if it doesn't patina well...return, no questions asked

Returned the Folio, got a Midnight Blue instead and will stick with this. Here it is at just over 1 week, starting to break in
What are the ways (if any) where one could lighten the patina on the saddle brown leather case? The edges (especially the front) are almost indistinguishable between black and brown.
For sure! It comes today so I'll take some pics when I get home from work. I am hoping they have updated it, because its the only leather case that supports Moment lenses.
Removing patina is impossible. It’s a natural aging process of leather.
However a lot of darkening is due to dirt and oil, not patina, and some of that can be cleaned off. I’ve been told that light rubbing with a Magic Eraser followed by leather conditioner can do the trick (on dirty leather in general, not just Apple cases), but I haven’t tried it myself.
Mr Clean Magic Eraser. Be sure not to scrub too hard or too much or it could dry out the leather.
I've had a Meyer Lemon on since launch. to be honest, nothing notable has happened so far. it's probably not as bold/vibrant as it was day I put it on.

As requested here is my new Nomad x Moment rugged case! I really like it so far! Feels great and looks great.
Meyer lemon after 3 weeks of use. Glad to see no black marks so far. I dunno if it's because they call it Meyer Lemon, but close up, it looks like lemon peel to me!

Beautiful, any pics with the phone in it? This yellow go better with the Midnight Green or Space Gray?
I took the pics with the 11 Pro Max, so I had to take it out, but I'll take some later on with the phone in there.
I got space grey for the first time. Grey goes with pretty much any colour I think. The green... It would go as well, the vibrance of the colour is pretty subtle.
This was really one key deciding factor for me going with the Space Grey - I knew the black camera module would match with pretty much anything, and thats important to me personally as I love collecting Apples leather cases. I do acknowledge the Midnight Green itself is a lovely colour however
Lemon is the theme for this season!
