Can anyone recommend a coloured MagSafe leather case for the iPhone 16 6.1” please, I have the white one so colour is not an issue really although I would really like a purple, red or maybe a green. I have the Plum silicone from Apple but I’m spending all my time rubbing it clean. I’ve tried working back through this thread but I’m getting a bit lost. Something in the UK please. Thank you

From my research Lucrin do colourful leather cases, but unless you want a wallet case, so far only for 16 Pro and Pro Max.

Not UK based but by far the best selection of colours seems to be Story Leather.

Thank you. I’ll look at both of those.

Figured it was worth sharing my experience with the Nomad Traditional leather case.

The brown case was perfect upon arrival - color, feel, grip. Was hoping for a decent patina after some use. Didn't expect this level of patina... 🙂

After my first regular 10km run with the iPhone in my usual soft belt bag, the case was massively worn. The pictures speak for themselves.
As an avid runner, I have had several similar leather cases from other brands for previous iPhone models and never experienced such a rapid "patina process". Some minor scratches, yes. Some wear and tear over time, yes. I understand that leather cases are not forever, but such a condition after just a regular morning run with a regular soft belt bag is something shocking to me.

Waiting for Nomad's customer service to respond.

Nomad uses quite soft leathers I believe, which would also mean the damage will polish out quite quickly. Have you tried polishing it with a bit of oil/balm?

I used to arrive at the polishing stage after about half a year of regular use of other leather cases. A bit shocked that have to do it 6 days after purchase 😲🙂 But will definitely try doing so.

Wow. Did it get moisture on it? Water or sweat

Not directly. The belt bag was slightly wet, but the case itself had just some small patches of moisture in the surface. All in all, as I see now, leather from different companies behaves differently under “load”.

Those who have Bullstrap for their 16s is there enough camera bump to protect the camera? Trying to decide between Bullstrap or RL.
