Same style as RL by the looks. Still prefer the Casebelle buttons, remind me of the old Apple leather cases back in the day.

The style is exactly the same. I do like the Casebelle buttons from the pictures I’ve seen, but the closed-bottom Bullstrap cases are also really nice, especially with the leather extending further around the buttons.

Yeah, I currently have 2 RLs at home (the initial one had inconsistent buttons, so they sent me another which is perfect), the Casebelle and a closed bottom BS on pre-order. Not sure what to do. lol

Yeah I am actually very disappointed in the RL closed bottom button. Mine look like they were just glued on. Tough choice for you.

I actually asked for a refund on the RL (after ordering the Casebelle), but they sent me a replacement so obviously missed my email, I now have 2 of the bloody things! So it's between the Casebelle and BS I guess.

They really wanted you to have the case, haha. I was actually shocked by the packaging; there was no hard box at all.

Yeah, just paper around the case and placed in a black sleeve within a slightly padded plastic postal bag. The Casebelle on the other hand came in a nice pull-string soft bag (with protective padding inside the case) and that was all within a hard box.

Yeah the Bullstrap is a much nicer presentation. A nice box with nice soft touch material surrounding the case.

Casebelle’s colour choice is interesting 😄

Probably excessive packaging tbf. Nice, none the less

Hi guys, would love your inputs.

I just received my Andar aspen case from a local reseller but I noticed 2 dots on the case out of the box. I can actually feel one of the dots. Wonder if it is normal.

TIA!

I've had those on several leather cases. As long as it is not a bubble you can press in, it's probably just a natural part of the hide.

Mine also had some slightly crooked buttons and they sent me a new one. It wasn't much better and I liked the creasing and character of the leather on the original. I don't like the BS logo or the leather camera ring. Casebelle's photos on their site have crooked buttons.

Mine were more the finish, I had one glossy button and the other weren't.

I'm in 2 minds about the BS.

My Casebelle seems to have OK buttons, unless I am being blind.

So what’s the consensus everyone about the best leather case this year? I’m seeing a lot of praises for Casebelle and less so for others like RL, BS, Nomad etc
Keen to know too. I’m stuck between Bellroy and Casebelle. The Casebelle seems a nicer case, and for $60 for either brown option (another choice I’m stuck deciding on), plus the $30 postage (it is express international shipping), it’s only $5 more than the Bellroy. I can get the Bellroy today, or the Casebelle between the 22nd and Nov 4. My phone arrives today, so I either use the silicone and be stuck with it, or get the Bellroy and just wear it into the ground before replacing. My first want for a case was the Spigen ultra hybrid T in frosted black, but no local stock (Pro gadgets) and no clear timeframe for when they’ll have stock.

A shame Apple ditched leather, I’d have one already if they didn’t.

My Apple case has one of those dots. It’s raised. I don’t like it, but the case is for my 14 Pro. If I could do it again, I would have exchanged it. Totally personal choice!

To address an earlier post: I can not press it in. It seems like a part of the hide, or something under the hide, but over the plastic shell the hide is glued to.

So I decided to keep my 15 pro for another year. Curious what you think of the stone grey andar setup. I’m usually black leather person so going outside the box here and paired it with the blue iPhone as well as the AirPods

Hey, I got my first-ever leather case for my 16 Pro Max. I’ve only had plastic cases before and recently used the Supcase for the 16 Pro Max.

I picked up the closed-bottom Ryan London case for the 16 Pro Max in black.

I have a few questions about this new case:

1. Is it normal for the case on the left side to “crackle” a bit when I press it down? Will that go away?
2. The leather feels pretty hard/thin. Will it get better over time? I expected it to be really soft.
3. The camera cutout feels a little sharp—will that soften over time?
4. The action button feels good, but when I look closely around it, I can see some dents. Is that normal?

Sorry for the dumb questions, I just want to know if I’m worrying too much or if this is all normal at the start. I bought the Ryan London case because I heard they have the best ones.

Should I return it or is that normal?

It depends on what you're looking for. If you want the best quality leather, Bullstrap and Ryan London's open bottom cases are unmatched. If you prefer the thinnest case, I would recommend Casebelle. The main concern is that cases like Casebelle are not well-known, so we don’t know how the leather will age. In contrast, we do know how Bullstrap and Ryan London perform.
