YMV have released these in various colours which looks nice for those wanting the camera area covered. Same design as the lucky coin and bullstrap cases but should patina really nicely.

Dang! I’ve had mine for over a month and I have nowhere near the patina that you have on yours. Did you add some type of treatment to it?
No but I use cocoa butter lotion on my hands a lot, so I’m sure a bunch sets into the case.
Might sound odd but which lotion do you use? 😅 It's such a good looking patina

I have the RL open bottom case - arrived yesterday.
I have also got the RL open bottom case and mine has the same issues as yours and a very weak magsafe magnet. I have reported this to them and been told that the magsafe magnet isnt meant to be used for a car mount holder? Seriously what is the point of having it then? I have never experienced any quality issues with them before but cant help but think this has either been rushed or made very poorly, even the inside of the case has been badly glued. Such a shame when all their other cases have been great. 😔
Yeah the bottom left edge in the pictures above looks a bit off. That's sad, I really loved the look of RYAN London open bottom. Sticking with my Andar.
Dumb question probably but do you find that the smell of such lotions transfers to the case and ends up removing the leather smell?
I have not noticed that, no. I’m not rubbing lotion into the case. It’s just that I have well moisturized hands.
