This is all classic BS service. The phone has been out for 4 months and they still haven't figured it out yet. This is the same as the last two phone launches. I know there are a lot of BS lovers on here but I personally have never had good service with them. With the prices they charge their service needs to be a lot better. Hopefully your stuff ships soon but at this point I'd be contacting them and demanding a full refund and taking business elsewhere. There are a lot of good options out there for leather cases these days. BS needs to wake up and realize that consumers have choice for good leather cases now. Their business has to be suffering because of this.

TBF I had noticed the bottom corners were a little off and that it bulged a bit around said port area but felt that, since it's somewhat malleable leather, it may eventually conform to the phone. At first I was going to chalk it up to a wasted twenty bucks and move on to something else but decided to drop LC a message/pic of the damage through Amazon. And I'm here to sing their CS praises! They responded within an hour and couldn't have been cooler or more apologetic and offered me an immediate replacement that I received days later. Did not expect that given their price point but it was refreshing to not be argued with by CS or need to exchange endless messages. The new one seems solid although I can feel a slight bump beneath the surface of that thin charging port area. Probably just where the frame connects but I'll be extra careful when removing the phone 👍

Another massive plus for LC. I'm still more than pleased with mine and its nice to see the little guys offering way better service than BS at a third of the price of BS.

That replacement case looks so good I almost want to buy another just to start the patina journey over again.

For the price of BS you can afford to have a couple LC spares haha. And yeah I had that exact saddle brown case. Loved how uniformly dark it ended up after a year 👌

I did email them… I know there are other options out there I just happen to like theirs best. Almost went Ryan London but I hate the metal ring around the camera. Andar with that valley cutout is also a no go… and closed bottom is a must..
If my apple silicone was a light color I might not even be in this predicament at all.. I loved my light pink and sky silicone case for my 14 pm…

I hope they ship it to you soon and that it has no issues when it gets there.

Got my ocean contemporary case a couple of days ago. Standard BS case. No complaints.

I bought a spare LC for my 15 Pro just in case since I'm not upgrading until at least the 17 series.

Great. Chatted with Bullstrap and the chat rep at least says she can’t see my order number… I paid for it and it shows under my account as unfulfilled… hoping it’s just a limited view from the chat rep

Oh boy... thats not great news. Lets hope its just the rep.

There has to be another quality option that has closed bottom with a leather camera ring. I don't know why LC launched an open bottom this year. They had the best closed bottom last year with the individual speaker holes. I still think they are going to launch a second version which will be full cover because they named this years cover "basic edition" so that implies a better one being offered too. But until that happens I can't think of another option for you.

It’s ok. Thanks for allowing me to vent. This is so dumb tho!

I’ll get it sorted but I’m tempted to just say to heck with it and keep using my silicone case

Ughhhhh bullstrap customer service. I’ve had to resort to say jut go ahead and refund me then miraculously my order is shipped the same day or I say I love to leave reviews and the order ships faster. Ridiculous.

Well, I just find it alarming they can’t find my order. But I did say that if I don’t hear back from them by tomorrow, then I’m going to dispute it and they said don’t do that. We’ll try to find it. Lol. I don’t like being a jerk but I’ve waited two months and now someone who can order it today would probably get theirs shipped out before mine does which I don’t think is fair.

You are exactly right. You did your part and now are just left in the dark. Hopefully the wait is worth it! We are all rooting for you.

Thanks. That’s Finn and he’s a big bumbling fool but we love him. More pictures of him and his sister Zoë below(not to derail us from our shared love of cowhide or anything)

The CC cutout is obviously not the most ideal solution considering a button version exists on the Apple silicone case and some others but at the same time I don’t hate it. It’s there and I’ll live with it if I have to. I’ve had plenty of leather cases from BS before and I do agree that they do have their issues and are probably bordering on being worth the money now with cheaper alternatives but when you get a good case, it’s great. I hope yours ships soon.

I agree. I think they were waiting on BS to get theirs out there first. I believe we will see the closed bottom version here soon.

We miss the Apple leather cases so badly! Anyone with a regular iPhone 15 used the 14 or 13 leather cases from Apple before they discontinued them?

This is what they wrote me on November 4th when I asked them about a close bottom case. I just wrote them again to see if they have changed their minds. lol

"Dear Joe, hello! We do not intend to launch a bottom sealed magnetic coil case, as it will greatly reduce the compatibility of the charging port and the unlocking function of the phone. Additionally, the bottom opening design has a protrusion to protect the bottom, providing protection. You can purchase and experience it, and we will provide you with comprehensive after-sales support"

What a weird response. They offered only the closed bottom version last year. Maybe they are just trying to get you to buy the open bottom.
