There has to be another quality option that has closed bottom with a leather camera ring. I don't know why LC launched an open bottom this year. They had the best closed bottom last year with the individual speaker holes. I still think they are going to launch a second version which will be full cover because they named this years cover "basic edition" so that implies a better one being offered too. But until that happens I can't think of another option for you.
Clayton & Crume make one (closed bottom + a leather camera ring), but it is pricey.
 
I would never give bullstrap my money to wait months for a case and then deal with their subpar cs.

Ryan London didn’t hesitate in sending me a replacement case for my damaged/defective one and it’s already on its way. They just asked for pics and a description. Didn’t even have to send it back. I was so happy with their cs that it made me buy another case. On top of that they emailed me saying they will combine shipping with my replacement case. I mean… what else can I ask for?!

Yeah, if they did a closed bottom version of the case in the same style as their open bottom then I would buy a RL case, but they don't, so sad times.

The CC cutout is obviously not the most ideal solution considering a button version exists on the Apple silicone case and some others but at the same time I don’t hate it. It’s there and I’ll live with it if I have to. I’ve had plenty of leather cases from BS before and I do agree that they do have their issues and are probably bordering on being worth the money now with cheaper alternatives but when you get a good case, it’s great. I hope yours ships soon.

No email this morning from Bullstrap. Normally I get one first thing if I reach out via chat. I’m gonna prob have to either redo this order or go a different direction.
Send them a customer service email and put the pressure on them Brooke. I've had to do that multiple time. Either mention to cancel the order if it is not shipped immediately, or mention leaving a negative review. I hate doing that, its not me but it works like a charm with them. Good Luck Brooke!!!!!

Oh I did I said I would dispute this by the end of today. I told them I don’t have time to try to play the back and forth game. If I went on the site now I could order it no prob and it would probably ship out right away. Told them I don’t mean to be a jerk but how can they fulfill an order they can’t see? I’ve already waited two months I don’t want to play games for two more weeks. I was really anticipating this shipping this week.

She said she escalated it but I told her I have until end of day to deal with this before I need to do something different here.
 
The Bullstrap CEO lurks on here too so he’s 100% seeing this play out. He has to know this sort of stuff leaves a bad taste in people’s mouth. This would be a good opportunity to step up and fix it and get some good word spread about them. Doing the right thing quickly would literally be free advertising for them here.

Cat pictures while waiting for our patinas, no issue with that! We are looking to get a Siberian at the start of next year.

Honestly, I just want my order shipped. That’s all I want. Like I told the customer service agent via chat I’m not trying to be a jerk. But I don’t wanna play email tag and just play this out for another two weeks. I would much rather cancel the other order out since they can’t even see it and dispute it with my credit card company and just simply re-place the order. It’s not like I don’t want the cases. I just want them to be shipped. And like I mentioned yesterday, I feel like if I were to go on the site and order them brand new right now, I wouldn’t have an issue.

I feel like partly this might be something I caused because I originally ordered the brown color and I had them change my order up a little bit. But I just find it odd that a month ago they could see the order in my account and now they can’t. So the only thing I can think of is that because of the changes that were made to my order, somehow it murked everything up

Are you using the chat on their site or emailing their CS. I've noticed the chat is just nonsense and emailing them can lead to quicker results. At this point you have already paid for a product 2 months ago. Come on Bullstrap help Brooke out so we can see a case already!!

I did their chat and they said they were going to forward it over. I did email, but I did a reply to LARA from bull strap, but I never heard from her which is why I decided to use the chat but let me go ahead and email them. I have a couple minutes this morning

Thanks everyone for the support. I really appreciate all of you… makes it better. I’d probably cry if I didn’t have somebody to vent to lol well, at least my biggest problem in life is not getting an iPhone case.
 
I got my replacement slate contemporary case for my 15 pro and this one also has a gap in the upper right hand corner. The gap on this one is actually bigger than the first one I received. I regret ordering from bullstrap.

Yikes, What is going on at Bullstap HQ? For these prices do they really have zero quality control on their products? My LC cost a third of the BS and fits perfect. Sorry to see this has happened. Whats you plan from here? Ask for another?

I’m starting to wonder if the universe is telling me to get over the metal ring on RL.
Do you usually put your phone down on the screen on the backside? I always put mine down screen side down so a metal ring doesn't bother me at all. If you like to put it down on its back I can understand why you would prefer the leather camera bump.

Honestly it sounds like you're pretty careful with your phone so maybe the metal ring shouldn't be a major concern for you. RL and Andar both make great cases.

I am extremely careful you got that right!! But I always set my phone down on something soft.

I just emailed RL about the cc button version they said would come out end of this month. If I can’t get this Bullstrap sorted then I might see what RL says and just wait for the button version to come out. What’s another 3 weeks

I just figured it would be like my sienna contemporary and but a different color, apparently that’s too much to ask. I can’t understand how it can be so difficult to make a case that fits the phone properly.

Well at least you get responses. Right now I’m being told they can’t find the order I placed two months ago.. I can only seem to reach a chat agent.

Ugh. Ryan London is becoming tempting.

Would you consider the Keyway slate again? I woudl 100% go back to their cases if they just made their logo flush with the case.

I’m dealing with the exact same thing from an order I placed in mid October that still hasn’t even shipped out yet. They also told me they’d apply the 50 percent discount for another order of mine since the code they gave me wasn’t working, and then they just never did and no responses back from their customer service for over a week. Frustrating! Tempted just to cancel my order from October but wasn’t sure since I used rewards points for half of it and I’m sure would take forever to get those back on my account. I have multiple outstanding emails to them so hopefully hear back soon 🤞

If LuckyCoin never makes a closed-bottom case again I was considering a Keyway or an Andar when I upgrade. If I remember correctly, those cases are pretty much the same, right? The X logo doesn't really bother me as I don't use Magsafe mounts or anything that it would interfere with.

Yep I would say the Keyway and Andar are the same apart from the X logo.

I still think LC are going to launch a closed bottom case based on the "basic" name they gave the open bottom. It implies they will be a second "better than basic" version. They had the best closed bottom last year so I'd be surprised if they didn't do it again. I wonder if their delay is due to trying to add in a camera button instead of a cutout.
