Get the open bottom version! They make them! This case is ridiculously nice. I prefer it to my husband’s RL
I had a few BS cases they are too thick for my liking. My Luckycoin and RL open bottom are much thinner and their buttons are soooo clicky with better leather quality. I gave 3 bullstrap cases away to friends and co workers.
It’s a matter of opinion of course, but Bullstrap leather is leagues ahead of LuckyCoin. That’s not knocking them, but the reason the BS cases are thicker is because they’re using thicker leather of higher quality.
100% agree. I much prefer the color and feel of my Luckycoin over the BS. Yeah the LC is a bit dry out of the box but after 4 months of daily use it feels light years ahead of my old BS. It also has developed a much nicer sheen than the old BS did. Reminiscent of the old Apple cases before the 12 series. Plus you can’t beat the price, shipping cost and shipping times.
Exactly! And BS doesn’t patina well. That’s subjective too but they look black instead of rich deep saturated brown. It’s all a matter of preference. Buy and enjoy who you like!

I’ve been holding my husbands RL debating for two months when I was waiting for BS. Ultimately BS feels better to ME, leather wise, than his RL. His also wears differently than his old bourbon BS.. and he still says he prefers his RL over Bullstrap. Mainly for the logo placement. I personally think that little bull is cute but that’s just me 😂
I feel like my case will do better with wear esp if it scratches. My husbands case got a nice scratch from one of our many cats and it’s not healing well. It still might as it’s a new scratch, but we shall see
I will say tho RL would be my second choice if I couldn’t get Bullstrap. They’re all nice in their own way.

Ok? I have no clue what you are saying, and I am not sure you do either. Moving along, you can enjoy your case and I can enjoy mine.
The RL closed bottom and open bottom have much different leather. I have a closed bottom rl and not a fan of it at all. Leather is so much different.
That’s what I keep reading. I wish I could test it out but again not a fan of open bottoms.. but I believe you!!

That’s what I like about BS they use the same leather for open and closed. Just wish I could use a closed bottom case not a fan at all. Ruins the experience for me.

Here’s my LC after 4 months of daily use.
That’s the cleanest closed bottom case with the precise speaker cutouts and leather around the camera. I’d even consider that if they made it for the 16 series.
