Nice patina coming along great!
Can someone answer why some Apple leather cases for the new iPhone 11 Pro have a different texture than others in particular I noticed the Product Red & Forest Green are the only ones with a texture.
I kinda feel like we should pin exemplary photos of the various color combinations at short-medium-long age intervals to help people decide what to buy. @jlyaamu these look great and were absolutely what sold me on the color combo.
Any recommendations for a full leather case for iPhone 11? I have the nomad rugged, it’s nice but I miss the “full leather” and patina look that I had with my apple leather case. It really bothers me that Apple still hasn’t made a leather case for the 11
I ended up going with the Haxford case. It was on sale. It came in the mail 2 days ago and I’m noticing it feels very “plasticy” like the leather feels rough and slippery. When I had my Apple case it was somewhat slippery when new but it broke in. My biggest concern is the leather not being soft. Has anyone else experienced this?
Nope. Not lately. I tend to buy the real thing knowing it is the best and will last long time. I used to buy cheap stuff but realized in the long run I was loosing money as cheap knockoffs break.
I do too, only reason I bought this one was because bullstrap was out of Stock of the 11
I have the nomad rugged in the brown color. It’s not really changing much, there’s just some scars on it from about 2-3mos of usageWhich Nomad do you have? The brown gets a good patina, also have you tried Mujjo? I had nomad rugged for 8 months with a Xr, Mujjo for 11 pro i found a bit sticky, using the nomad black folio now.
I have noticed that too! Also those colors don’t scratch as easily, like for example saddle brown I would say scratches the easiest and it also doesn’t have any texture like Red and green cases. However I did notice my saddle brown actually smells like leather and my Forest Green smells more like chemicals (both purchased from )Can someone answer why some Apple leather cases for the new iPhone 11 Pro have a different texture than others in particular I noticed the Product Red & Forest Green are the only ones with a texture.
I was going to buy the black one but didn’t like how it had no texture and the grip wasn’t as good so I settled for the Forest Green which is a sweet color.

So today I will be ordering my iPhone 11 Pro but cant decide which colour to buy. Like the idea of the green phone but will it look right with the tan case.
Here is my current tan case which looks great

Yeah Saddle Brown and Forest Green are my rotationI did notice this too! I had two cases open on my hands - the green and the saddle - and while giving them a sniff just a habit of mine I noticed saddle smells like real leather while the green smelled like chemicals. I did settle on the Green Leather for my 11PMAX

There's patina in the green around the edges, it's just hard to see because of how dark it gets overall. I really like the color. It kind of reminds me of Bob Ross when he would use black on his palette, then mix in just a little bit of green to paint the trees.I have the green and it’s been months. Still looks brand new can’t get it to patina we’ll at all. My red one is doing well some darker spots but not dirty by any means. The midnight blue though is killer with some patina

What does the texture feel like 10 weeks into the forest green? Is it comparable to something like the Saddle Brown after it starts to patina?
