Here are a few photos of the black Lonli Edition. Originally was alternating between this one and the Nomad traditional, but this has been on the phone now for the last few weeks. Even though the leather is not quite as nice as the Nomad Horween, I like the case better (specifically the plateau surround).

I didn’t like the feel of my Luckycoin so I returned it. Too dry and cheap feeling. FWIW had the same experience with my 16+ but I found a LC unit that felt like this one looks and stuck with that. Not sure if it’s a lottery again or they’re all dry feeling almost sandpaper like.
Is the case easy to take off and on?
I dunno which color I’d get if I were to : this, azure blue or the saddle brown type.
Code “case15” worked for me. I found it right after ordering, asked them to apply it retroactively, and they promptly refunded me the ~$12.
This looks very subtly different than the Lonli, especially the thickness (or lack thereof) on the edges of the camera lip. This has me hopeful that it’s less of a chunker… The Lonli just felt too big for my liking—that and the more processed looking/feeling leather (very soft/almost squishy) meant I ended up returning both blue and saddle.
Any chance you could take some profile photos, maybe with any other cases you might have? I’m really hoping it’s as thin or thinner than my LC 🤞🏼 also, I’m curious how the cutouts/buttons look. LC is at least as nice as any others I’ve seen so far (better than most).
The Lucky Coin case is starting to show some patina after 3 weeks. Im hoping the rest of the case balances out with the darkening corners over time since it’s more rounded than the last several generations. We shall see!

That is some nice patina coming in! Do you use hand moisturizer regularly or have you applied any product on the actual case so far?
Yeah, I’m looking forward to where it goes. Lucky Coin cases come pretty dry, so I apply some Skidmore’s leather cream at the beginning (just once seems to be enough).

I don’t moisturize all that often, but I do use beard/all purpose skin oil which I’m not afraid to hold my case after using (what I use and highly recommend are oils from Everyday Oil: https://everydayoil.com/).
And this is why I’m holding out and not cancelling. Looks awesome.
Bluebonnet has ghosted me since 10/10 after indicating that I'd receive tracking on 10/13 or 10/14

Same here. I was getting pretty timely replies from them until I asked for a refund. Now it’s crickets. I can’t imagine a worse customer service response. Just be honest and most will accept it.

I've had issues with online companies like this a few times before. I just call my credit card that I used to make the purchase and let them know the situation. In every single case they have reversed the charges within 24 hours.
I just got this response. Note that it is almost word-for-word the response I got on 10/10, only promising tracking by this thurs/fri after promising tracking by the 13/14 before. And I left no ambiguity in my request: I said I am not interested in waiting for the case after being lied to and want to cancel/refund. Totally ignored me:

I just got a nice message from customer service and a second email from the owner. Sounds like a combo of bad circumstances. He promised shipping of all orders within a week. Considering how good it looks in pics in this thread, hoping it’s worth the wait. Again, I think if they’re more proactively communicative in the future, it’ll be fine. I know Caudabe had similar delay problems too. Good problem to have, I guess.
They are great. I didn’t think the 16 Pro was as nice as the 15 Pro, but still good. I just didn’t like the plastic mold shape as much—it didn’t have as svelt a camera lip/surround, and felt a bit bulkier than the 15 Pro case.
Not that this matters to you, but it almost looks like they’ve changed the camera surround on the 15 Pro case now to have the same convex/bulbous shape as the 16 Pro, but it’s hard to tell since they use photos from different series cases all jumbled together.
My 16 Pro case didn’t have a camera control button, which I didn’t like, but it looks like maybe they’ve added that (it’s hard to tell—Amazon photos show a cutout, but their website offers both options). I’d get it direct from them if you want to make sure it has the button.
Despite initially not liking the rear design of the luckycoin/ bullstrap for the 17 Pro I still ordered one as it was on offer and I have to say, it’s the most comfortable in hand case design I’ve used this year!
Unlike the Andar the rear edges are curved to match the device rather than squared off.
So I think I can overlook the lack of camera plateu cut out as it’s so nice to actually use.

I'm curious for those who have received the Blue Bonnet case, if the sides are curved like the LC, or flat like the Nomad.
Does anyone have the luckycoin for the air yet? I see it on their website but trying to wait for it be in stock on Amazon.
It is identical to the Bullstrap leather Air cases, will be a nice case with a good fit and shouldn’t add too much bulk either.
I came to the same conclusion. I ordered based on my having been very pleasantly surprised with their 15 Pro case, especially given the price (and okay feelings on the 16 Pro, though I don't think it was as good). I didn't know it had the covered camera cutout at the time I ordered since they had not posted any photos yet. I was still waiting on the case when they disclosed the design and I was initially not a fan. When it came in though, I too decided to accept it since everything else was better than any other cases I'd tried/seen so far. The patina is coming along nicely so far too. I do wish they had a nice forest/hunter or olive green in their lineup. I also have some hope that they may release a version with a fully open camera bump cutout. They've added/tweaked things in the past (my original iPhone 16 Pro case, for example, had a camera control cutout to start and now appears to come with a button, for instance). They also sometimes seem to make open and closed bottom versions... So maybe they'll make an open bottom/open camera plateau version? My vote would be for open camera section with a closed bottom, but this is all just wishful thinking/speculation at the moment... For now, I'm letting the full covered look grow on my. The camera area is also taking on a cool patina, which I'm currently here for 🤷🏻♂️
This is the LONLI Edition Italian Full Grain Leather azure blue case.. this shade of blue is perfect, the buttons are way better than I thought they’d be.. the camera control button sticks out but it does work.. the fit from the front show the phone frame (like Apple cases), wish the fit was a bit tighter
is this the 17 pro or pro max? Does it weigh a lot?
So far the Lonli Edition is looking great and checks all the boxes I prefer: metal buttons, closed bottom, camera button, leather camera lip, full plateau exposure.
