I’ve just got this case for my Air and it’s great so far , I’m really happy with it
My Andar Aspen also doesn't fit the greatest. It has a creaky corner. Now that they offer a warranty, I wonder if they'd replace it.

I was between the Tekmomo and Luckycoin cases for my Air but scored a free Bullstrap case yesterday during the giveaway. I’m not the biggest fan of the plateau being fully covered but I’ll probably just stick with it anyway.
if I’m not mistaken I think the luckycoin is same as the bullstrap cases so for the Air the plateau is also covered on the luckycoin?
I’m also not a fan of this hence why I didn’t go bullstrap this time round, but if u got the case for free that’s a win win ,
Regarding the Tekmomo the leather smell is great and I love this shade of brown. I think it will patina beautifully.
Yes you’re correct, Luckycoin has the same design as Bullstrap, I’m assuming it offers a little more protection but I don’t know. I do like that shade of brown on the Tekmomo as well. I was only able to score the Bullstrap in the Terra color way, Siena was unavailable.
If you don’t mind posting pictures here once you receive it , I would like to see how it is on the Air.
It already started privately. Emails were sent with codes for 20% off. Unfortunately most times are sold out with no signs of restocking.
On the Air it’s open, I recon you would struggle to get usb c cables connected if it was closed

Thanks yes I bought the YMW with closed bottom for my Air and can’t get the USB C cable to charge it.

Is the issue that they show in-stock on their site and shipping time of a few days, but the reality is that after you purchase you actually have to wait for months?

I think they never had stock, let people order, take the money and then purchased from their supplier to fulfil the orders.
Thanks. Someone on Reddit was kind enough to give me his, so I got a couple of cases and an AirPods case. Looking forward to seeing how the horween compares to the regular leather.
Feels like I’ve been waiting forever for a black leather case. I ordered a Ryan London at launch, then Canada post went on strike and it was stuck bouncing back between the UK and US for a month lol. By the time it was finally returned to sender and I got a refund, I thought I may as well wait for Black Friday sales haha.

Honestly, I think the best leather case for the 17 Pro series is going to be from RL Open bottom. I’ve always been a big fan of their cases, but this year especially there’s just not much real competition.
I’m not into the whole metal camera ring trend. I’m using Nomad’s traditional Horween case right now only because the leather is straight-up fire. Bullstrap’s camera plateau design isn’t it, and while Lucky Coin is decent for the price, I still feel like it takes away from the clean aesthetics of the 17 Pro series.
I also tried the Black Rook Arden, and honestly, that leather just felt cheap — super disappointing.
That’s why I think RL Open is going to shine this year. Their leather, fit, and simple design just feel right for the 17 Pro.
