This is always my favorite-looking case year after year. There's always such a nice red hue in the Saddle Brown. I wish their close-bottom case looked like this vs the metal ring. I had both for the 15 Pro and the open-bottom one felt so much nicer to me.

This is always my favorite-looking case year after year. There's always such a nice red hue in the Saddle Brown. I wish their close-bottom case looked like this vs the metal ring. I had both for the 15 Pro and the open-bottom one felt so much nicer to me.
Oh man I had some high expectations with that Blackbrook Arden… that’s a bummer.
Although I had high expectations, the outcome did not meet my desires. While the leather will undoubtedly develop a patina over time, it falls short in comparison to the exceptional quality of older Apple leather cases, bullstrap leather, and nomads horween leather and RL.
November 10th… has anyone received shipping notification for the open bottom Ryan London yet?
Not yet, I have messaged them to ask if mine is being sent out today as per their stated date and the fact I ordered minutes after they added them to the website.
EDIT - All open bottom Pro cases delayed until this Friday/ next Monday.

That sounds right so far. They told me it would ship out 11/5 and nothing so far.
I know how much hate they get on here, but this Bullstrap case is amazing. The smell of leather and the fit are both outstanding. I can barely get the case off the phone, it has a super snug fit. The buttons are perfect. Normally, I can’t stand the camera control button, but they have it figured out, it’s more intuitive than the one on the naked phone. The Terra color looks different depending on the lighting, almost red outside, and more brown inside. Maybe I’m just being a fanboy, but this case is legit.

I finally got mine today! I ordered 9/18.
I’ll post photos tomorrow when I have time. So far, I’m pretty happy with the buttons, fit and finish, how thin/light it feels (about the same as LC, maybe even a little thinner), and it doesn’t feel nearly as thick/bulky as the Lonli. The camera lip is nice and thin/compact like the LC iPhone 15 Pro cases. The screen protector lip is also about as minimal as Apple cases which I appreciate.
The only thing I don’t like so far is the smell of the leather—it has a very plastic smell. I’m also not sold yet on the leather, but I think I’ll have a better sense in a few days. I’m hoping the smell and plasticy texture will wear off quickly.
My Bullstrap 13 Pro Max Terra arrived late today, total $8.47 (shipping, tax)
When I logged as soon as the email hit at 10:01am Thurs. I saw one 17 Pro case, that was it, Pro Max showed "Sold Out" in all colors.
Maybe they just had 1 or two to give away?? Not sure. I may upgrade to the 17 Pro Max soon...still on the fence though.
Interesting. I got mine today too and the leather smell is super leathery, and the feel is really impressive. Curious, does yours have the blue interior? There seem to be a couple of version floating out there.
Mine has the blue interior and I am very happy overall with the case. I had a Ryan London last year on my 16 pro and while I think I liked the RL leather slightly more, I wanted a closed bottom case with the leather wrapped camera plateau which I think only Bluebonnet and Lonli currently make, and I find the Bluebonnet to be far superior to the Lonli Edition.
Mine has the blue interior. Overall, I’m really happy with basically everything but the smell.
It’s not subtle, and it’s definitely not leathery smelling. It’s a very strong chemical/plastic smell. If it doesn’t go away within a couple days of use, I will try to leave it out in the sun for a day (if we get a sunny day anytime soon 🙄). But I assume with a couple days of normal use it will be fine. I also started hitting it with some Skidmore’s leather cream, which smells great, but the first application didn’t make a dent on the chemical smell.
I’m fairly sensitive to smells and get headaches from certain chemicals/plastics outgassing, and this one has given me a mild headache just using my phone in it.
But otherwise, it’s basically perfect. There is some bubbling on the MagSafe magnet ring part of the blue liner, but it’s subtle and totally hidden, so no big deal. Other than that, I can’t really find a fault.
Time will tell about the leather—I’m hoping the smell on mine isn’t indicative of a thick coating on the leather or anything, but we shall see—let the patinas begin!

Same, well, never mind then, not just me! To be honest, not a huge fan of the Air cases that cover the plateau, so no major loss.
I emailed them asking for an update on my order, and that was their reply.

Gives me hope! I’m glad it’s thinner than the lonli which was one of my issues too.
Try using some leather conditioner on the case. Multiple companies have leather conditioners that smell like leather. Maybe that will help with the smell.
Do you still have the Lonli Edition? Would be neat to see them side by side.

I got lucky I guess, I had no issues except I tried for Sienna the first time which was sold out and then went for the Terra.
Yeah, no problem. I've only owned 1 Bullstrap case in the past for my 14 Pro, and honestly, that one was awesome. When I got the 15 Pro Max, I got a lucky coin case, and that one was really good too but definitely a little more flimsy, meaning the fit wasn't as good as Bullstrap. I don't know if Bullstrap is 3x the cost better, but it's definitely better. Keep us posted on the Tekmomo because honestly if it wasn't for the free Bullstrap case I was really leaning towards that one.
I used Skidmore’s leather cream, which smells like pine and other natural ingredients. I personally love the smell, but I could see it being too strong for some. It didn’t really make a difference, but it also didn’t seem like it was able to soak in at all. I suspect like many cases, this one has at least a thin hydrophobic/oleophobic coating of some sort (at least that’s what it feels like). I’ll try again in a few days once that’s worn off a bit.
It’s smelling less strong after a day, and I am loving everything else about it. It is as close to an Apple leather case in terms of thickness/lack of bulk as I have seen (or maybe tied with the PC iPhone 15 Pro case).
I returned both Lonli edition cases I got as well as the classic immediately due to various reasons, so I can’t directly compare, but I know this one is thinner and has lower screen/camera lips. I will take a photo of my BB next to my LC tomorrow, but they feel very similar dimensionally.
The camera button on the LC is better, but the other buttons are a little better on the BB. So far, leather seems more “natural” on my LC (though it was, as I’ve always experienced with their cases, very dry and soaked up conditioner immediately). The leather on the BB is smoother to start, and I have yet to see how it starts taking a patina (I have a feeling it has more coating to wear off).
