The Nomad leather cases with the TPU bumper? This hasn't specifically happened to me but I have noticed this case doesn't fit as snugly as some other leather cases I own.

This is the year I’ve not bothered with a leather case. Can’t beat the old Apple ones from X-11 Pro era
For whatever reason I've been the same way most of this iPhone cycle. My phone has been in a TechWoven case most of the time. Bullstrap is $100 now, which is crazy. I didn't really like either of Ryan London's cases this year. LuckyCoin didn't make an open plateau case this year. Considering most of the cases all come from the same handful of Chinese factories, going forward I'll probably just stick with a LuckyCoin or an Aliexpress one for my next phone when I'm not rocking a TechWoven.

Years ago I bought a case from Ryan of London and the quality was and still is really good but I have a new iPhone 17e now so was just wondering if the quality of the leather is still as good as it was.

Thanks.

I’d say they’re still pretty good, but having owned Ryan London cases for my 15, 16, and now my 17 Pro I would definitely say that the quality is not the same, (especially their open bottom case). Don’t get me wrong, they’re still really good, but comparing them against their own older cases you can tell the quality is not fully the same.

Thanks for the reply so I might look elsewhere but not sure yet.
I am UK based so any recommendations would be helpful.

Decided to grab the Andar Aspen Saddle Brown wallet and case combo on sale. Grainier texture on this case as compared to the smoothness of my other leather cases, and this one will definitively show everyday wear and tear more, which I love.

Definitively interested to see how this one patinas over time 👍

Bullstrap cases are very pricey, but you can never go wrong with their quality another option if recommend is the Blackbrook Arden in tan color. Both have leather wrapped camera plateaus like RL open bottom

I like this new Ryker case launched by Blackbrook. Haven't ordered it yet. Was hoping they would offer it in deep blue. Not sure whether to get the Distressed Coffee color.

Definitely lighter than I was expecting. Maybe that means it will turn a nice forest green instead of a black when it patinas.

The burnish tan looks really good. Such a hefty price tag like BS. I’d get it for $60 but for $90…

Also unlike Bullstrap they don't offer two free cosmetic replacements a year. SO if you scuff it, drop it, or don't like the patina, you are out of luck. Without the warranty $90 is unjustifiable.

Hold on it is on sale for $62 this weekend! I think i would still pass. They charge $10 for shipping and also would need to buy the matching wallet. If they had the deep blue I would have bought it this weekend.

Day one of the Ryan of London case for the 17e. Let the Patina begin and I hope it turns like my iPhone SE3 case.
The only complaint I have is that it took some getting on as it is super tight and I hope I don’t have to take it off for anything

Edit. The buttons are really nice and have a good action to them.

This just popped up on my Facebook. Bullstrap is having a 50% off sale on select cases. The iPhone 17 series is included.

My Tekmomo cases arrived for my iPhone Air… they’re perfect!

Easily my favourite leather case I’ve bought in years, and over time I’ve tried the lot!

For anyone on the fence, order yourself one.
