Leather Cases - Patina Proud Photos

The only complaint I have is that it took some getting on as it is super tight and I hope I don’t have to take it off for anything

After owning this for almost one week I have an issue with one of the buttons not feeling the same as the rest. The power button feels a bit loose but still works ok.
The leather quality is ok but does not feel as good as the SE3 case I have but it’s fine.
I have tried to contact them multiple times but have not gotten a reply yet and it’s been a few days.
What really disappointed me was when I ordered it I paid for 24 hour postage but it took nearly 4 days to arrive.

Not impressed with customer service from them.

This year their customer service is either horrible or non-existent! The quality of their cases is far from previous years! I'm done with them!

That’s my thoughts exactly.
I ordered from them because the previous case I bought a few years ago was excellent and they are a British based company but I am done with them.
I got my wife a case for her iPhone from Porter Riley, again a British based company and the leather feels really good but they only do a wallet style case which I didn’t want.

Same! If you want a real leather with good patina - Andar ! I bought 2 Moft cases and I am really happy!
 
Old versus new but the leather on the old looks much finer grained than the new.
I prefer the quality of the old which was the same colour when I bought it

I honesty think there is a drop in quality from a few years ago.

RL dropped the ball this year. Their open bottom use to be one of my favorites and Jun would allow you to hand pick your case back in the day which was great.

Totally agree and they have lost a customer for good. I will buy from someone else in the future.
I was forced to upgrade from the SE because it got dropped and the Touch ID and home button do not work anymore. Plus it was due to get a new battery so I just decided it was time to upgrade by getting a new phone.

I just wish Apple would still do leather cases.

I ended up getting one too during Bullstrap week since I had some points use. Easily the best case this year Blackbrook adren is close 2nd surprised not too many people talk about them

Blackbrook might be the only company with a worse logo than Bullstrap lol. However, in terms of fit/look, the Bullstrap closed bottom has been my favorite leather case this year.

To be fair the leather cases on the square edged iPhone have all developed a less beautiful patina than the round edged phones did. I've tried most of the leather brands over the years since my iphone 12 and they have all developed that overly dark stripe around the edge where the corner is. Until Apple goes back to a rounded design, which I'm sure they will eventually, we just have to live with this. I think the leather makers are unfairly blamed for the way these cases patina... its beyond their control.

Fair enough comment.
 
Andar Aspen Saddle Brown *almost 1 month patina. I’m hard on my cases, but this case shows scratches and everyday wear much more than a smooth oil finished leather case.

I bought all three Tekmomo colours and the sofi blue is the one that surprised me most, not that the origin and black aren’t equally as nice but just that generally I don’t like blue cases - but the two tone effect on the leather is so nice!
