I can afford the gold, but it doesn't make sense. Why pay 10,000 for a Gold apple watch when a random kid can own the same innards and functionality for $400. For me it needs to be a larger separation.

I originally ordered the Rose Gold with the white band in 42MM along with the stainless 42MM with a sport band at 12:05.

I cancelled the Gold one yesterday after having not received the Stainless on launch day and after seeing postings of multiple celebs having received theirs days and weeks before the launch. Really annoyed by that and it lost all value for me to own the Gold one.

Don't know what I was thinking... Also first time I've ever been annoyed at Apple.

You don't consider the entire case being forged of solid gold a large separation?

Holy ****... that is unbelievable. Looks great, I wonder if that is a rendering or the actual result.

EDIT: I love how their site has a "quantity" selector when you add that to your cart. I guess they are an ambitious bunch.

You just had me rolling with this one!!! My sides hurt from laughing!!!

Neat!

Erm... was it the Apple person who put it on your right arm, with the crown facing the wrong way?
Why would you think the crown is facing the wrong way. Left handers have been wearing watches like that for many years and have got used to the crown being away from the hand. While Apple has made it possible to swap the watch face and put the crown nearer the hand it does not follow that left handers will change a lifetime habit.

Sure, but left handers didn't have to spin the crown all those years, in order to use the watch's functions :)

In any case, as the person in question noted, it was put on that way simply because the watch was in demo mode, and could not change orientation.

The intent of the image is to show he has money, so of course you're going to be salty.

My point is that it's a douchy move. I have a nice car too but I'm not about to plaster some car logo all over an apple watch forum to annoy people.

People always complain because of it. They're complaining because he shows that he has a Porsche, but if it was just the watch alone, they'd complain that he's wasting money on the watch.

No why would people complain if he shows his apple watch on an apple watch forum?

Well to start off, this was posted on reddit originally.

Regardless of the car, why does it matter? Like you said, this is an apple watch forum, so why're you paying attention to/criticizing anything else but the watch?

Didn't know it was a reddit post. In any event, it screams of trying too hard. Like a not so humble brag. Whatever tho....
