I don't set my phone down screen down at all, but I wouldn't have any worries with the slim armor if I did. There is absolutely enough lip to make sure everything stays safe. And I think the lip on the 6 Plus case is even bigger than the one on my 5 case.

Good info, ta.

I'm thinking a red Slim Armour will settle quite nicely on my silver/white 6+.

Really wish they made the kickstand case for the 6, but no, we get the lame credit card stand. That slit is an eyesore.

Tell me about it. I would be all over this if it was the same config as the 6Plus. Where do you even store the card? Bah... don't tell me. I don't really care.

Not sure if you saw my edit in the reply, but I listed some suggestions that are (somewhat) similar to the Spigen.

Thanks! The red Neo Hybrid EX is too appealing to pass up, so I think I'm going to go for that. I had an Apple bumper for my iPhone 4 and didn't have any issues, so hopefully I don't scratch the back of my 6 :)

This is what I have on my 5s and it has served me well!

Anyone else have any other suggestions. I like a simple design but a nice lip to ensure that the device won't hit the screen first when dropped.

Spigen seems popular.

That looks good. Does it have lay on the table design?

What is your preference case for the iPhone 6 with a cutout in back? A clear one would be great.

The iPhone 6 Case Neo Hybrid EX is only a bumper. The iPhone 6 Case Ultra Hybrid is the case to get if you want a clear back. But as you mentioned, no red version.

Not as nice as Spigen cases, but these are the best I could find to match your criteria:

http://www.amazon.com/iPhone-SUPCAS...0531880&sr=1-10&keywords=iphone+4.7+clear+red

I like that it's only a bumper. Has anyone owned one of these?

Want the Spigen slim armor to hold me over until the new lifeproofs come out for the 6+. But I don't want to have to wait 2 weeks of going naked with the phone. Any other similar card holder suggestions out there? Really want to be able to just keep my train pass and work ID in there, so I don't have to always take my wallet out lol.

Before anyone says it I know that lifeproof isn't a card holder case, but I would only put it on when I'm going out/doing outdoorsy stuff.

Hey Troop, I am intrigued by this case. Have you dropped your phone at all with this on? I assume from what you wrote it worked well to prevent any damage.

I've dropped it like 2-3 times but on carpet and it was fine. I dislike bulky cases though so this is why I choose these style of Ballistic cases.

I may consider a LifeProof case once they release the 6/6+ models. :)

Apologize if anyone's read this question on other threads, but I can't find an answer. Can you tell me if the textured back feels textured and bumpy? My work laptop has a textured trackpad, and the feel drives me crazy. I'm afraid this feels the same.

It does lie flat. Wouldn't understand how it wouldn't though.

Do some cases not?

The one for the 5s was flat and smooth.

Seems like they've mixed it up a bit for the iPhone 6 case (to hold it easier?)

Here goes:

I need a case for an iPhone 6 (4.7)
Ideally I would like a front 'flap' cover, which leads me to believe I should be looking at 'folio' cases
Problem is all these cases also cover the sides of te phone, which to me sucks since I like to see the colour of the phone/remind me of it haha.
My concern about folio cases is that the flaps don't stay closed when in a picked ect, since so many have no magnets or 'clips'.
Any ideas?
I've seen one case which is transparent all round with a soft front cover, but IMHO looks tacky.
I'm at a loss!

Apple Leather case for me. Love it for my 5s

Except they took a good thing and ruined it by exposing the most heavily accessed part of the phone: That whole bottom part. I give it a week at most before a missed Lightning cable/headphone insertion etc destroys that bottom edge of the phone

Why, Apple? Why?!

Those who had the neo hybrid for their iPhone 5/5s how did you find it?

I had one on my 4s and still now thing it's the nicest case for the iPhone.

But. After a few months the back TPU started to sag, when I took it off it had actually left an imprint of the Spigen logo on the back of my iPhone 4. At first I thought it was just grease of crap had got in and left it but no matter what I did it wouldn't come off. So I was left with a Spigen logo imprint on my otherwise perfect phone.

Did anyone have similar issues with the Newer versions?

I've always avoided SGP cases since. More because it left my phone ruined.

So I just got one of the spigen capsule case and I noticed the inside logo has all the lettering raised and is a little rough. Was yours the same? How long did you leave your case on before you noticed? Was the mark permanent?

Thanks in advance!

Yes. Was the same in the neo hybrid. I'd say the case was on the phone for 4/5 months.

And yes. The mark was permanent. Completely ruined (to me anyway) an otherwise flawless phone. No matter what I tried it wouldn't come off.

Ever since I've used a back protector on my phones just to be careful. I don't know why it happened. It hasn't happened since. But then the newer phones are different material so it could be that. I imagine I was incredibly unlucky.

I've avoided SGP cases since but I like the capsule. But I'm torn about ordering it due to that previous issue.

I'm waiting for sketch cases and the candyshell grip and they're what I've used on my last two iPhones.

Can you post a few pics of the capsule if you don't mind? Just so I can see what it's like in the flesh so to speak.
