Oh ok. Is that Hungary?
Slovakia. But I tried to flash that new sw from USB and was curious if TV will recognize that software, without luck (I flashed software from that specific usb successfully month ago) so I can be true that that JPN software is not for my TV.

Dang, I was hoping it would work.

So I found the update for my tv on the website (5.30.20). Downloaded up and used a usb stick to update.

so things

make sure ur usb drive is fat formatted with master boot record
The drive has to be called UPDATE
Stick the update file in a folder called LG_DTV

and it should work

my tv is 55sk9000pua

Still no update for my 43UK9650PLB here in Austria.
Maybe they found a bug and stopped the rollout?

I guess they know what they are doing. a bit offtopic... How I can get beta version of software? Is there any beta program? is the latest version for those who has official 5.30.20 released, beta - 5.30.30? or any newer? thank you

I wonder it (how to update tv by beta) and also is it possible to update 55uk7550pla by beta software (even though there is no update in lg sites for that model which is 2018 uhd 4k)?

That explains why this is taking so long.

Actually I am really surprised how long does it take for LG to add a feature like this...

I got an LG OLED with the Homekit implementation from LG and I can disclose that officially from LG support that their implmentation does not allow to switch on the TV from Siri or any Homekit command.
They have a major bug for all their TV which once off, just power off the Wifi or Ethernet connection which kills any chance of connecting to it, so once it is off, it is unreachable from an homekit/Siri perspective.
So do not even say they will support Homekit as they won't ever and when I ask when this bug will be fixed, their answer was clear: never.
I just returned the LG TV and went for Sony which has a great Homekit implementation
I have a 2019 LG TV in my bedroom and turn it on and off with Siri all the time.

I have sent mail to lg and they wrote me back. I guess we all should send them mail and maybe it makes the process faster.
Their mail adress is; cic.uk@lge.com

I just confused about wheather my tv will get it or not (55uk7550pla 2018 uhd 4k). It is 2018 tv and many models’ update can be found in the website.
They also told me all 2018s will get it. They are probably rolling it out to the OLEDs before the UHDs.

When i asked lg us on twitter they told me your model (uhd) will not get it. That’s why i confused actually. They even themselves dont know which models will get it :/ hope our models will get it and actually they should.

Honestly I believe the people on Twitter don’t know. I remember asking for a list of the models that will get it and that’s when they told me there wasn’t a list because all 2018s will get it. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see and hope for the best. I do think we’ll get it though for what it’s worth.

Hey guys,

will Apple TV+ also be available for all 2018s?

My LG 43LK5750PSA does not have an AirPlay 2 or Apple TV+ available yet.
