I'm apprehensive to even try that until we know these adapters work perfectly. No one seems to have an adapter thus far even from Ebay, with any feedback.

Have you searched, there are tons on eBay by eBay sellers with good feedback. They are just not shipping until October. I've use generic USB cable I purchased on eBay for the 4 and 4S and they work well. Why pay Apple a premium for them...

They aren't all that much cheaper and apple has warranty.

I just placed an order on apple.com for 2 Lightning USB cables.
They are in stock @ Boca Raton, FL Apple Store, so I clicked 'pick up in store'.
Ill gladly drive there tomorrow an have the cables in my hand.

Very simple process.

Went to Boca, FL Apple store today and picked up 2 cables an my buddy picked up 2 as well. They had plenty in stock. No cases or adapters tho.

Definitely, but give it a few weeks. Monoprice is my store of choice for my iPhone accessories, cheap prices and fantastic quality!

With all this talk about chips I'm beginning wonder of monoprice will make them. But if they do ill snag some up. Always been impressed with the quality of monoprice stuff.
