Linkin Park To Participate In Upcoming New York Apple Event

Hey thats must awesome for Linkin Park to do, they prob more Mac fanatics than some you the MR peeps.

I can think in my head how the show will start.

The band walks out, guitar rips and that angry dude who screams in the songs just shouts, "WEEEETGGGOOOTTTTTTHEEEENEEWWWWWIIPPPHHOONNNEEEESEEECCONNNDGGEEENRAAATTTIOONN!!!!!"


Seriously I totally see that happen.

If its iPhone 2 with 3g and software updates I am all over that thing like Britney to being trashy.

WRONG. The real reason it's fake is because the picture was not taken in an elevator. Personally I'm waiting for the PowerPod G5 Shuffle...
 
Linkin Park being involved tips me off to what the announcement might actually be about:

New Ipods without audio functionality.

That would be the only just collaboration between Apple and Mike 'every song has exactly the same melody/harmony including the ones I produce for other artists like Lupe Fiasco' Shinoda.

It would be crazy if we could get a few scratches over the chorus!!!

Either your typing needs some work or you aren't making sense. I never said that you couldn't like a band because you weren't famous. My point was that people are acting like they "know" music so well and feel the need to define (or lack thereof) why the band sucks.

So it's false logic to say someone doesn't know what they're talking about when they aren't in a famous band themselves, produced no music, isn't in the music industry and isn't a music critic for a living?? I guess by YOUR logic, everyone is an expert on everything then.

Since I'm guessing you are the expert on 'cool', what exactly is the definition??

Let me be the hundredth person to say Linkin Park sucks horribly. Just listen to any random Led Zeppelin track, then put on a Linkin Park song. There is no comparison. Using Zeppelin as a rating tool, one soon realizes musical talent does not exist in the world today. And if you hate Zeppelin, I'm sure there's a local insane asylum that would be glad to have you...

Let me be the hundredth person to say that music, like any other type of art, is subjective. I'm not a fan of Led Zeppelin, but I wouldn't go out of my way to say that they suck or anything :rolleyes:

I wish people could stay more on topic lol

I'm not insulted because he doesnt like LP (its great that he doesn't, makes it easier for me to get tickets ;)), I'm insulted that just because I like LP he/she makes unfounded claims of LP fans having "no sense of musical taste or history or theory". For all he knows, I could be a huge fan of U2 or whoever he/she likes, or a holder of a degree in musical history/theory (I dont like/have either, but that's beside the point).

I'm fine with people saying "I done like LP", just as long as they dont insult me because I do.

First Apple gets some deal going with Starbucks-swilling numb skulls and now they have Linkin Park playing their events? What's going on?!? Are they trying to create some vortex of suckitude?

A band for just an SDK, (EVEN IF IT IS A SH**Y ONE).

Makes you wonder what else they have waiting around the bend.
