Yeah, 4gigs will take me a good 8 hours.
I hate living in the midwest.

I'll manage. Even though i have no plans to install it till 10.7.3 at least. Also i'll be using Disk Utility to create an USB/CD bootable copy.

Thats so cheap, we get so screwed here in Australia.

50/20Mbps - 200 Gbytes - $119.95 and it's available to less than 1% of the population.

People lucky enough to have ADSl2 average out about 5Mbps other wise it's 1.5Mbps Adsl1 or god forbid dialup.

Yep and we only just recently got unlimited downloads as well :/ end of last year/start of this year I think it was. Way too far behind!

Unlimited with who ? Only ISP's i know that do unlimited are TPG and Dodo, i rather have my head run over with a car than use them isp's.

I'm paying Adsl2+ 150gb Quota up/down counted $60

I'm at home at the moment until I go back to university in September. At university my flat internet speed is 50Mb/s.

Here I am getting 40KB/s download speed, and I believe my parents pay about £18.00 a month for the privilege!!!

I don't know how I'm going to download Lion with 40KB/s speeds :(

After a few years of being overseas, I totally forgot how bad Internet in the States really is.

But well... Paradise does not last forever as I plan on moving back to the States sometimes late July or early August, so Lion better come out before then or else I will be PISSED.

My current speed, after Speedtest.net finally got a server in my current country.

Its going to be so fun to download and if you notice its 92% faster than other people here, the Lion launch is going to fall flat on its face in 3rd world countries.

Yes, Jobs seems to forget at times that broadband penetration isn't everywhere as it is on his Apple Campus.
At home I only getting 6Mb/s down 0.5 up for years now. FTH and stuff is taking forever anywhere outside the big cities in europe. If you have Cabel your are a little lucky as they upgrade easier than the slow transition form ADSL to ADSL 2+, VDSL ...
