LION is a poor OS for power-users.

Why is that incorrect. Please...prove us wrong!
Worth ignoring to those who are looking for advice and help with something they may not understand. For those of us who know what we are doing (to a certain extent) are here, trying to get a reasonable explanation.
Yes, I am smarter than that. The only bug i've come across that was any sort of issue is Finder and CIFS share permissions being read incorrectly from time to time.
Otherwise I honestly haven't come across anything that makes the OS any less capable of being used by a "power user."
Most threads are people complaining about a change that they don't like, doesn't make them bad changes, just different than they were used to. And 'used to' is the key phrase there. People hate change. Adapt you whining child.
You do not get it. this thread is about me begging Apple to not make me go to Windowsand it will not be back to windows because, if you had read the entire thread, you would have known that I have never use Windows exclusively. Hell, I barely know how to use MS OS very well. I have use Mac OS exclusively since 1986.
No, this thread is you whining and saying 'incorrect' without actually backing up your statements. You don't like being attacked? There's a very simple way to avoid that: tell us, in your own words, what was wrong with Lion for you. Not what problems other people had, but you. Concrete examples, not '10.6.8>10.7.2."

However, I will say I remember there being all sorts of issues with Leopard and Snow Leopard when they first came out (drivers, apps, wifi, volume mounting, etc) which sort of negates the quoted poster's post.
With that said, I have not seen nearly the same amt of lion issues in regards to techical aspects. Alot of the issues seem to be around design decisions
I still don't see how it is a downgrade for power users. The "dumbing down" is only adding features for new users. Don't like/need them? Ignore it! Those features haven't changed anything else that is "power user-y".

I think the problem here is your miscommunication of exactly why Lion sucks so hard. Is it because the "Library" folder is hidden by default? Is it because Mission Control is kind of a mess? Is it because Spaces is gone? Backwards scrolling thing? Or are you just trolling?
Your logic fails from the very first post because a discussion cannot occur when no one has any idea what particularly you have a problem with. I'm mean you gotta give us some idea of what it is that you are having a problem with or else a discussion is impossible (which up until this point it has been). And if you aren't looking for a discussion then you are trolling. I'm just talking logic
A power user has OS X configured in a way that is fairly different than the default install, a bunch of strange default settings isn't enough to stop me. I've got GeekTool running, Growl doing it's thing, TimeMachine is much faster now, and Terminal is the Terminal.
No problems here on my '08 iMac.
apparently, you are unaware of all the issues. but I appreciate your input. I created this thread in the hopes that Apple puts the damn phone down and gets its act together on their computer OS.

actually it is not comparable—you are parroting the same ole rhetoric....
those other OS's had less issues, and were fixed much faster.

why does it matter that i pick one. the issues are well documented. I suppose that you want me to pick an issue so you can attack on any said issue. again the issues are well documented for any in the know. for the n00bs, and light-users none of this matters any way.

"logic-fail" is not a reply, its a sad attempt at being in control of the people on here, who were interested in understanding what you were thinking about Lion and it's problems.

Because those of us who aren't having issues, despite being power-users (which btw, if you define, will make things easier for all of us) are trying to figure out YOUR logic.
I personally didn't use spaces, and actually found myself getting lost in what was where, so I like the new Mission Control better. I can see some peoples point though, and it doesn't (to me) mean that Lion sucks.
What I believe Apple should do, is make that an option, Mission Control or Spaces. I know they advertised Mission Control a lot, but still, some people did like it, but people will adapt to new workflows. After all, thats how we are still here, isn't it!

We didn't ask for all the issues, just a few to get started.
People have absolutely no problem complaining or disin' on anyone, no matter what. Thats where we are as a society.
Ok then. Still, what is YOUR definition of a power user? Someone who has used Mac OS for so many years? Someone who uses their Mac x amount of times a day/week? Someone who knows how to use Terminal? What is it? This is an honest question, that you need to be able to answer before starting a thread like this.

I would like to have app expose while in mission control and a plain old app expose (with relative size) seperate from mission control.
I also wish Apple would still let a hold click on an app icon activate app expose as it no longer does
