If the current update on Fedex.com says the package is " On FedEx vehicle for delivery " that means it Has to be delivered today right? Cause the Estimated Delivery Time is still Friday the 7th.
I started to think that i might be missing out on the experience without the apple remote so i decided to call Apple up and order one. While on the call i was put on hold and because i was on hold for a few minutes they are going to send me a remote for free! 
I was blown away by Apple's customer sevice and its little things like this that mean a great deal to me.

WOW....thats all I can say! This thing is AWESOME!
I ordered mine on Wednesday of last week (15 inch, 2.6, 4 GB RAM, 250 HD) and it wasn't supposed to get here until tomorrow according to Apple, and Friday according to Fedex!
1. It is BEAUTIFUL!
2. It is FAST AS HECK!
3. It is sooo cool and quite (my ibook was an oven compared to this)
4. The screen is PERFECT (no yellowing)
I could go on and on and on but I just want to play with it more...so ADIOS!
P.S. If you are even remotely considering buying one of these.... DO IT NOW!!!!! They are great machines! Completely worth the $$$!

So... after missing the fedex dude around noon this morning (i was home but he didnt ring the door bell) he came back around 5pm and delivered my macbookpro! Funny thing is I almost missed him again because I was just getting out of the shower and I heard the dog barking So I ran to the window noticed the fedex truck and sprinted to the door in a towel LOL.

Man...that would PISS ME OFF. Nothing against the apartment complex...but it would still piss me off...haha
Did you leave a note for your FedEx guy/girl to take yours down there if you're not home? I'm debating on what to do the day mine goes out on a truck for delivery (seems like an eternity away yet since I ordered the 27th and it's still "not yet shipped"). They didn't deliver my sleeve to the leasing office since I wasn't home the other day and the truck wasn't due back until after 7pm closing time. I signed the tag and they left it there...I'll be damned if they leave my MBP there, so wondering if I should write a note to take to leasing office, let them hold it and I can pick it up at FedEx, orrrrrrrr not go into work that afternoon. Decisions, decisions.
Well, actually it's not my apartment. It's being shipped to my brother's girlfriend's apartment. She lives right across the state line in Mississippi while I live in Tennessee. The difference? 5% sales tax. They wanted to charge we 12% in Memphis, but only 7% right across the state line.
So, I'm going to call my brother tonight and let him know that if I get online tomorrow and it was not open again, that he (or his girlfriend) needs to go by the local FedEx hub and pick it up from them! The last thing I need is for that thing to be returned to Apple!
Actually, can you call FedEx and have them schedule you a pickup? That would seemingly allow them to leave the package there for you to stop in anytime during their business hours...or maybe I'm wrong? If I'm not, I may do that myself. Can somebody confirm this?
Oh crap! I'm visiting my parents in Göteborg this week, I wonder if I can call TNT and have them change the shipping adress. I didn't expect it to arrive until monday.
But I see now that mine haven't even left Arnhem Hub yet, why?! We bought the exact same computers, at the exact same time. Mine should be in Sweden right now!
Update: I called TNT, it's not in Sweden and it will be delivered on monday.
Okay, too bad you don't get to play with it in the weekend but it's monday pretty soon anyway =)
Mine is in Helsingborg but I'm beginning to doubt that I get mine today.
I'll give TNT a pling at 15:00 if it's not here and see what they have to say.
