Yeah, I'm not surprised if there are big headline news saying
"Huge plane accident avoided in Pudong -
A plane lost it's landing gear when trying to land at Pudong Int, 16:40 Swedish time. Baseline Glossy Model, $1844 (after rebate) from MacMall, February 27. Free Parallels (after rebate) and $30 all in one Epson Printer (after rebate).

I was told that they might not have the model in stock until March 7-15. With the free UPS Ground shipping (after rebate), that means the trip from California to Florida will take one week.

This is my first Mac.

I am being tortured.
 
After 3 months of waiting for the MBP's I pushed the button for two systems:

MBP base system - matte, no extras (will get the remote and other toys in the shop - did not want to make it a BTO!)

Ordered 4th March, shipped 5th:

Okay, how can i track my MBP, shiped 3 march and expected 12 march.
It says merge in transit NL via Flextronics.
Does any body know how too track it?
 
Strange: You will get two different result when you look at your account on apple.dk or apple.com.

Apple.com gives more info than the Danish version.
On .com I can see that it is Flextronics but not on .dk.

In the German applestore its the same. I get more info on the US apple site! Maybe they know that us european won´t be able to track, thats why we don´t get this information. some with non BTO and no additional things are able to track, but their units get shipped via TNT from CN.

My MBP is send via Merge in NL, all other items via Flextronics.

Next time I will by somthing from Appleonlinestore, I splitt my orders. I will just order the super uber MacBook AirProTouchPadBeam in 2012 without BTO (I know in this case I have to live with the 3TB standart config.) And the selfpowered neopren case which is flying behind you, so you don´t have to carry it around, I will purchase seperately:D
 
My MBP has finally arrived at the FedEx location here in Stillwater, OK. So if they don't deliver it today, I'll be able to pick it up after work just down the street from my house. :D

I'm going to get my first mac, my MBP delivered today FINALLY. All of this waiting seems to have been months!

Mine got here this AM. It actually got here at the beginning of the delivery window (March 5 - 10) - and it was a BTO too... Woo!
 
Wow. I got mine a day and an hour early! There's nothing like waking up to a new computer. Time to brew some coffee, grab the camera and unbox.

i am so excited i already bought a bluetooth mighty mouse for $95!! yup :apple:products are pricey here.. :mad:
 
Is it just me, or does status change to "shipped" ages before it actually *does* ship? Mine shipped on Saturday apparently, but no details have changed and it's Wednesday today. Looks more like the order has gone through to the factory rather than strictly shipped (how else do they explain a predicted delivery date a full two weeks after the ship date?). :confused:
 
Rocklin, CA is about 15miles away from where I live and the estimated time for delivery by Fedex is still Friday!? It better not lol - it should be on a vehicle for delivery today! Sucks that I have school til 230pm !
