Great post djrod, +1

I was wondering if Apple will incorporate a street-view system soon? I really liked that feature as it helped me get to know places before i got there.

Is street-view removed entirely from iOS 6?

You mis-spelled Vienna.

(and yes, i've been to both)

Nope sorry, no typo there. I was just talking about the most visited city in the world.

I also took into account the culture, food, art and history of the city. But sure, Vienna must be nice too...

Yes, totally removed. C3 were working on their own street view before apple bought then so that may appear.

peeve

I'm quite the fan of the engineering aspects with apple products, and havent gone a day without using my 4S since purchase totally love it, had 3GS beforehand so I'm invested in the ecosystem but I am beginning to get why people are ditching the platform for Sammy and the likes of android.

extremely miffed with the exclusion of Australian support of turn by turn navigation in ios 6. Reminds me of Siri with the 4S

its certainly not news, but not even half of Siri's "beta" features were supported in Australia through ios 5.x, and just now with iOS 6 I am getting location based support for Siri, 12 months on.

Will I have to wait for iphone 6 before I get turn by turn navigation in maps? I can see that apple have clearly listed maps integration and it's varying levels throughout the world on the iOS webpage, obviously to avoid mitigation but as a selling point during the keynote, Australian users are let down again.

When will they start to add Asian cities like:

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Bangkok, Thailand
Hong Kong, China
Singapore
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Tokyo, Japan
Seoul, Korea
etc?
